At 6-4, 275, I wonder if Joe Jackson is a candidate to play inside. He has power but not a lot of speed for the edge. Could be a LDE and 3-tech, because you know how much we love versatility.

I absolutely don't mind throwing bodies at the 3-tech spot and seeing who sticks considering how important the spot is in this defense. We don't know how Hill will work out, so might as well get a guy like this who has the production without some of the measurables.

I also think we might be looking at Michael Jackson as a safety option instead of corner, but his length does fit Richard's corner profile.

They said on the mothership that he had a great workout with Kris Richard and they were looking to get him a cb with length.

I think this seals Crawford going back to DT...or they suspect Crawford is getting suspended for a long time.

I don't think a fifth-round pick seals anything. It's virtually a shot in the dark that you might get a good backup/rotational guy and if you are absolutely lucky, something more than that.

Yes, normally, I would just think hes a conversion candidate, but with Richard, he fits what he likes at corner.
