Day After Thoughts

Really makes you wonder what Wade actually DID here for 4 years.

Man, I wish I could have a job where I just show up, watch a movie, go to lunch, yell at a few people and then go home, fly all over the country on the company plane, and get paid millions to do it.

WHat the hell did Wade do? Made me wonder when I saw the hustle, the swarming, the focus. Garrett got that in 4 days and wade could not get that out in 4 years?

I gotta get my resume in front of Jerry somehow. Hes hiring fools and paying well for it. I can be a big a fool as the next guy, and I will do it cheaper then him too, but not too cheap now.

Being 2-7 will do that to you. When we win a few more games things will start to change with the board.

Yeah, I'm happy with this win for sure. Nice to have something to be happy about.

That said, I can't criticize folks for continuing to be negative.

This season is still arguably the team's most disappointing in its' history and it will take a lot more than this win to get folks to feel better.

The think the cornerstone play that showed that this is a different team is when Bradshaw was fighting for a touchdown, and our guys swarmed the ball and stopped him short on the 2 yard line, which I think led to the pick-6.

A week ago, Bradshaw would have waltzed in, or carried two defenders with him to 6 points. This week, we laid the wood on him.

Another key memory: around the 3rd quarter, they showed Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw sitting on the bench on the sidelines...they both had that "we're getting the wood put to us" looks on their faces. Priceless.

I think my favorite play was the stop on 4th and 1. When is the last time a Dallas LBer came up and stuffed a big RB on a short yardage play like that? I can't remember.

.

We could win out, and those same people will still complain.

I'd like to believe that when I see it.

:)

I'd like to add a hoooah for Brent, and the newly added defensive ends - Jeremy Clark and rookie Jimmy Saddler-McQueen. They at least tied up things for Bradie James and Keith Brooking to make plays. The strong Giant rushing game was slowed down, and this made the game much more manageable.

And thanks Dbair, for a nice read...

10) Other than the injury to Jenkins (who got injured giving great effort, and even forced a fumble on another play by making a text book hit) the only negative to the game yesterday IMO was Buehler missing from 34yds and kinda struggling with the kickoffs. It will be interesting to see what happens with him the remainder of the year. He might get the next two games without any competition, but I suspect if he misses another gimmee we will see some potential new kickers brought in after the New Orleans game for try outs.
Yep. The Friday after Thanksgiving there could be kicker tryouts at Cowboys Stadium.

Why? He's too much of a danger to playoff success now? He might be worth seeing through.
