Ramsey was BPA. I would have been happy with Elliot had we traded back 4 or 5 spots and picked up an extra high pick and then picked Elliot. I guess we have to capitulate to our piss poor coaching situation that Jerry refuses to fix.

Someone explain to me the logic in upgrading a position that had a top 5 RB in the league last year who did not have a QB worth a damn to back defenders off the LOS or start the first four games.

Zeke wasn't my choice, but the offense will be incredible. We will see some long TD runs and he will have a great career behind our line.

I agree this pick will have the biggest immediate impact. Even a top WR wouldn't have had near as much an impact with Dez the #1 and the Romo's undying commitment to Witten. Maybe not the best move for the future of the organization but definitely the biggest impact in 2016.

If Ramsey and Elliott were the only ones we were considering at that point, I disagree with you. Dallas was in position for an elite talent this year. Don't trade lower than the players you deem elite.

Of course, that could have included Tunsil, but I don't think he was a consideration.

This is the team that didn't start Collins immediately.

A lot of folks just dont seem to realize that this choice extends the career of Tony Romo. He will be in far less types of situations where he is in peril.

This pick plays to the Cowboys greatest strength. They now have a power running game like no other.

The last time the Cowboys draft a RB that high he took them to the Super Bowl his rookie year.

Or get a real HC/OC, but either way is cool
