Not having a valid backup QB is the reason we were 1-11 without Romo. We do need defensive help as well, but must also address backup QB.

You aren't getting a backup QB ready to play immediately if need be in this draft at this point though.

Lots of movement in warroom. This is Lynch territory. Dallas burning phones up trying to get back into this rd to probably grab Lynch.

And did nothing to help that situation (QB) = Goff/Wentz. Now we move past the idea of QB and work with what we got, etc.

Goff and Wentz weren't viable unless we wanted to sacrifice everything for them.

Best way to get sacks is to force the other team to throw the ball. The best way to force the other team to throw the ball is to score points. Opposing teams threw the ball just 506 times last year, good enough for 31st in the league... as opposed to the Panthers 650 passes attempted against them. A good offense will lead to a "good pass rush".

LOL. You drinking the kool aid big time.

Big time run on DBs

Good. Pushes the DEs down. If we don't trade up for QB, I want a DE.

I can live with a WR and then go DE/DL in the third and fourth, but QB and DE are my primary targets at this point.

Ummm okay? Do you really think a rookie DE is going to change that?

No but at some point you still have to add defensive talent. I suspect a rookie DE would be better for the team than a midget WR who will likely only be your 3rd WR to start the season.

And you are Chicken Little. I am sorry this is a much better defense than the defense that went 12-4 and was a freak play/call away from the NFC Championship two years ago. I just choose not to worry that the sky is falling all the time, it very rarely is.
