I use to think Jeff Cavanaugh was a tool but he does pretty good with this draft stuff especially in later rounds.

Let's face it, it's all a crapshoot today anyway. If any one of these four guys pans out and contributes, that's a win.

65% of NFL rosters consist of guys selected after the 3rd round (saw that this morning). Good teams find players today.

Daniel Jeremiah and Mel Kiper both like him. DJ just said he was the highest rated CB to start the day.

Mel said if they gave an award for most improved CB, then Robinson would have won it.

Yeah I'm not gonna harp on them for that. They have their own scouts. Scout see things differently. They saw something in Fredericks that other scout didn't.

One thing about Reggie Robinson is he’s not only Daniel Jeremiah’s top corner coming into day 3, but he’s also blocked a FG in each season he’s played. This might’ve been a player that Bones liked a lot on ST.

Robinson isn’t well known to the media/draft sites. They’re going to have him rated low unless they’re really connected like Brugler.

I wouldn’t put much stock in their rankings on this guy.

NFL teams are much, much higher on Robinson.

123. Dallas Cowboys: Reggie Robinson II, CB, Tulsa

Strengths: Length, speed, special teams capability

Weaknesses: Consistency

Robinson is a toolsy cornerback prospect with 4.44-second speed and Extend-o-Arms that he uses to high-point passes, rip the ball away from receivers and block field goals (he blocked four in his career for the Golden Hurricane).

Robinson's overall coverage technique and vision are rudimentary, and he lacks ideal transition quickness. But he has the skill set of a matchup cornerback against taller receivers and should be able to contribute on special teams for obvious reasons. The Cowboys already drafted Trevon Diggs at cornerback to fill their immediate need, so Robinson is a fine developmental project to round out the depth chart.

Grade: B+
