Yeah I miss the days of CART. CHAMP CAR just never filled the bill like they could have and now they will be gone soon. Tony George is finalizing a deal right now to buy CHAMP CAR. We will have one open wheel series once again but it will not be one that I will be apart of. At least there is ALMS and MotoGP to watch.

Tony George helped kill CART when he split off and only allowed IRL teams to race at Indy.

Yeah preaching to choir hear Yeag. Been knee deep in the **** for the past 13 years of the split. Tony George's latest effort to "unify" the sport is like a guy trying to apologize to someone he just murdered. Shallow and self serving....

I enjoy open wheel racing also except sprint cars. As a kid my father and I would go to our local track every weekend during the summer.

It's going to be tough to keep Kyle Busch from winning this.
 
I think if I were to become a fan of Nascar, I'd have to be a Newman supporter. They have a midget.

So does Kahne and Tony Stewart......they also have Outlaw teams
 
Great finish! Didn't think the mopar boys had it in'em but they pulled off a 1-2 finish.
