I think there will be a big difference with Roy Williams once he is able to go through the mini camps and training camp and develops timing with Romo.

Agreed... we forget that he came to the Boys during the season, and had to learn a whole new system on the run... I also think his foot was a big problem this season, limiting his production for the Boys...

All I know is we gave up a TON to get him, and it hasn't paid off.

I've seen this guy make crazy catches, I think the talent is there. But will it ever materialize? If Roy can get it together, you'll have as good a receiving corps as there is in the league, and likely the best the Cowboys have ever had (flame suit = on) with TO, Roy, and Witten. But Roy has to produce for us to really get the most out of the talent - that means getting him involved especially when he's matched against smaller receivers. He's not fast, but damn I've seen him catch crazy balls...

I'm confident Roy Williams can be and will be a solid #1. But he needs an entire year to be comfortable in our system and develope his timing with Romo. Thats why he will be a great #2 for the time being. This is one of many reasons why we won't see Owens going anywhere until 2010.

Roy will be what we thought he would , a compliment to TO and a fine #2.

There is no reason to cut TO. Most of the hype is from the media, and most of the divisive issues, are with the fans tooting the medias horn. The team and the coaching staff can co-exist and be successful with TO on the team.

The real problems lie elsewhere, and they are being addressed. ST/OL etc.

There is NO WAY that Jerry is going to cut TO when the MAIN REASON for getting RWR was to alleviate the pressure and the coverage so TO can make the big plays that we know he can... being that we are designing mismatching plays for him or throwing him a bone(slant) once in a while.........grrrrrrrrrrr

I think TO saw the writing on the wall when the Roy trade went down...

Either you cant read or only you and few select others read that wall incorrectly.

See above.
Roy was not signed to replace TO. Well not unil AFTER TO retires a Cowboy.
