Flozell Adams isn’t much of a talker. In fact, you rarely see much emotion from the veteran offensive tackle. So hearing of Giants’ defensive end Justin Tuck’s comments concerning Adams’ tripping penalty didn’t bother him too much. With a few reporters around Adams, he basically shrugged off when learning Tuck called the play “Bush League,” especially in learning that Tuck injured his shoulder on the play.“I’m sure he’ll be fine. He’ll play next week.”
Tuck missed the entire second half with a sprained shoulder and complained about Flozell after the game. “I think it was bush league," Tuck said. "He did it a few times in that game. Unfortunately he didn't get called the other times. He's athletic so he can make it look like an accident. But when it happens to you over and over again . . . I would've liked to have the rest of the game to punish him for that, but it didn't happen."
And surprise, surprise . . . but Brandon Jacobs had things to say after the game, too. The big running back said Marc Colombo pushed him in the back when teams were shaking hands immediately following the game. “I better not see him anywhere,” Jacobs said afterwards, referring to Colombo. "I'm just going to let him know that it was a real disrespectful thing for him to do."Good luck with that
