It cost us a big play down field and backed us up deeper in the hole but at least it did not cost us our QB by standing there and letting Tuck have a free shot at Romo.

It's not bush league. It's a penalty. Just as if Flo had held him and tackled him to the ground and hurt his shoulder. Tuck's bein a baby.

And it's laughable to even THINK of comparing this to Gurode getting stepped on by Haynesworth. That was well after the play, and there was no reason to do it, other than vengeance. Flo was doing his job. Protect the QB at all costs.

They just announced on ESPN a little bit ago that he would be playing next week.

Nope, it was just like holding to protect the QB from taking a big hit when you're beaten. Adams wasn't trying to hurt Tuck, just stop him from crushing his QB. (It was how Tuck fell that got him hurt.)

Too bad Adams didn't know that Tuck wasn't going to affect the throw. But there are times when holding, tripping, etc., are better than the alternative.
