If you want a WR, draft a WR.

Jerry hasn't learned this lesson yet.. If Ogletree does succeed.. He will continue to draft WR's in the Seventh or count on UFA's..

Who has he passed up in the 1st round that has become a beast in this league? Bowe out of Kansas City? I've never had a problem with Jerry passing up receivers for the simple fact there haven't been in worth drafting where the Cowboys have been drafting at.

I hope this ends the "try to convert the black quarterback into a receiver" experiment.

I wonder how many injuries Stanback would have had if he played a wildcat QB on a long term basis?

Hey Hoofbite...none because he sucks huh?

You're right. I sorely underestimated people's ability to spot a lost cause and wasted roster spot.

Limas Sweed, Malcomb Kelly and Robert Meachum all insist Jerry must take WRs with high draft choices.

So what? If late rounders are panning out, isnt that better for the team? It means you get quality players for less of an investment. They get a chance to prove themselves before getting any real coin.

Regardless of whether we tried him at WR or QB the guy couldn't stay healthy anyway so what difference would it have made.

Without any tabloid dirt on the Cowboys the mediots are reduced to rueing about players that sucked.

Pretty pathetic.
