:laugh2: Hos, you're the first to say you don't gloat at first opportunity but you do. That said, I'm not one of those you're referring to. I was thankful we won and said the same thing Jimmy said multiple times during the game. Had we lost, I probably wouldn't be feeling so good about it but we didn't. We pulled out an ugly win. You need those too in a successful season.

Oh that loss to Washington in our 1st 90's Superbowl hurt me.

I was a little kid but i'll never forget that game.

If I'm not mistaken, we didn't lose another game that year. Same thing with the Leon Lett in the snow fiasco. We won out after a heart breaker. Boy, those 90s teams were great.

I swear..the Commanders split with us in 1992 when we won our first Superbowl of that decade when they went 9-7 and we went 13-3. They split us again in 1993 when we won the second of three and only went 6-10 that year to our 12-4. They SWEPT us in 1995 when we won our last Superbowl and went 4-12 overall compared to our 12-4.

Records don't matter with the Commanders, it's entirely different with them and always has been.

And guess who we beat when we went 1-15 in 89/90...

Jimmy knows football....but c'mon. There have been FAR more ex-coaches and players that "know football" that have said plainly that Roy just sucks (or suggested as much).

The truth, pardon the cliche', likely lies somewhere in the middle.

I used to get some good laughs out of the trolls that would come on that board and in those chat rooms. They just didn't have the technology at the time to pwn legit trolls.

Yup, I was there too. Though I was very much a silent lurker, I do remember what it was like. Wow, it's really hard to believe that it's been over 5 1/2 years since we moved over to this board.
