DC.COM Blog: Johnson, Ogletree Should Be Active

I fully expect Curtis Johnson to strain his hamstring in pregame warmups.

And on another note, while I have complete faith in Coach DeCamillis, I am concerned about disrupting a very effective coverage team by removing Octavien from the Gameday roster. Is Johnson going to take his spot effectively? Has he practiced enough to do so?

He's supposed to be a ST ace. That's the rumor anyway.

Look for Ogletree to get a WR screen or 2 thrown his way. They can't afford to have him active just to collect splinters on the bench.

That WR screen to Ogletree was just a red-headed trick to get the DBs up close this game,,, then we will send the little speedster on a deep route,,,, touchdown!! :D

Johnson is a waste... Just like Rossum and that guy everyone wanted to take Procters spot! Why do we draft guys if we are not going to let them play
:rake: :rake:

sure wish we knew if buehler could hit fg's then we could just drop folk....

Didn't Ogletree have a good block on Crayton's punt ret. for TD last week?

He also was credited for a tackle in the KC game (don't know the circumstances ...)

I wouldn't doubt that we'll eventually move that direction, but probably not for a couple of years at least unless Folk craps out. Buehler is going to have to prove himself in camp and the preseason games before the Cowboys could get comfortable letting Folk go.

Of course, if a new coaching staff comes in, you never know how they will feel about keeping two kickers. (Hopefully, that staff would hang on to DeCamillis, though.)
