This Top 100 Player list from the NFL Network has been rather interesting this offseason and I would think you can say pretty generous to the Cowboys, who have six on this list.

Any time you can match players for a Top 100 list and the amount of wins from last year, it doesn’t really match up.

The ironic part of having six Cowboys in the Top 100 – and that’s Ratliff (75), Romo (72), Austin (70), Gurode (57), Witten (36) and probably DeMarcus Ware who hasn’t been announced yet – is that the most talented player of all isn’t on this list. Not this year.

Extremely high!! This kid is gonna blow up this year, he has that hunger and desire in him to do so. He just loves to play the game too. We're in for a treat this year watching him play. JG and the new recievers coach will have him ready... I can't wait!!!

Top 20 easy. And that's factoring Witten and Austin still get their looks.

Like I've been saying to anyone willing to listen. He could be video game, Madden on rookie mode, Moss in 98, can't stop him only hope to contain him good.

Never seen raw God given ability like Dez has. Rice, Moss, Carter, etc had specific skill sets that made them great. Dez seems to have it all. Everything is so natural and fluid and once he learns to protect himself he can be one of the very best ever.

Every scout around the league unanimously agrees the kid has 'it', he passes the eye test, and immediately made NFL veterans look like kids with little offseason work.

He's got Andre Johnson power, with Calvin Johnson's leaping ability, with Larry Fitzgerald's hands, and Desean Jackson's wiggle. And no I'm not being hyperbolic, the only problem is he's got Brandon Marshall's head.

Bryant is something that can be real special. But Ware has been and is elite special since he started, and for a long time now.

94 is a top 5 player in this league.

He would have made the list had it not been for the broken ankle/leg... He was on pace for 1,000 yards receiving as a rookie. Not to mention the two punt returns for touchdowns.

I agree. Calling Dez the "most talented" player on the team is a huge stretch, at least at this point.

I frankly do not see Dez ever reaching his potential because his work ethic is just not there to do so. Self discipline, etc. I think he can be a Michael Irvin though. If he tries harder than he has up to this point.

How do you know this? Every report about Dez when it comes to football is to the contrary.

I thought (I could be wrong) that there were numerous reports of Dez being late for meetings last year. That is about the only thing I know of.

did not learn the playbook. Late to meetings. Ran lazy routes in games. Just a few of the things mentioned in his first year. Google him and there are more to be found.
