Interesting from the standpoint of the upcoming draft.

They were not too worried about having two kickers active on game days which would mean another ST player would be off the field.

Now I wonder if besides just having one kicker do all jobs if this also plays into a draft scenario where they take a player that is MAINLY a return guy who would also be depth at other areas even if they have enough depth in other areas.

Now the articles talk about possibly opening another spot for a coverage player on ST to take over for David but the more I read the rumors and so on it seems like they put a big emphasis on ST players last year and might want to finish it off this coming draft by trying to take a dynamic return guy.

Just something to consider.

a dynamic return guy would be great, need something better that Crayton returning punts...

For me it was sort of a running joke between me and my Cowboy fan friends. We made a lot of the same sort of jokes that people do now about Buehler. It was funny because he was such a frail looking dude with a pencil neck.

After kickoffs, we'd all go BONIOOOOOL!!! LOL

Oddly enough, one of the best kicking coaches is someone who has never made a field goal in his life -- Doug Blevins, who was born with cerebral palsy.

It sounds like he had spastic triplegia but the lack of speech impairment is quite unusual for that pattern of deficit and there is more often significant cognitive issues which he also seemed to lack.

It always shocks me to hear of some of the things kids with cerebral palsy do. The one thing that some of them don't understand is how frail their bones are - like of proper CNS innervation will usually lead to a form of primary bone fragility off affected limbs although the axial skeleton is usually spared. It is not surprising at all that the suffered such a severe injury playing tackle football.

You just have to admire his spirit.

Icant remember where he is from. I have employed this strategy for years in madden, no punting either, always go for it.
