DC.COM: Pac Man has a bulging disk in his neck

Try being the bengals..they have 22 injured players..thats enough for all of the offense and defense.

The Bengals have 17 players on IR, but only a handful are guys anyone has heard of. And when you're out of the playoff race, you start putting guys on IR for minor injuries because you don't need to worry about getting them back for the playoffs. When you're still in it, you keep guys on the roster who might miss a few weeks but could be back for the postseason.

Agreed.

That Rams game is kicking us in the *** right now, big time.

I was at the bengals/steelers game..and looked at the scoreboard and saw that and I thought...What the ****?

This year yeah but he has helped them a lot. In 05 he was amazing then he got injured kinda been down hill ever since

It' just one of those seasons, if you guys make the playoffs it will be a success but if you miss then it's just a bad year go back to the drawing board. I believe if Romo hadn't Been out those 3 games you guys would be in a different seat right now.

The Rams loss may have been good for us b/c it was after that game, Wade stripped the defensive playcalling duties from Brian Stewart-we've been much improved since. Otherwise, we win that game, who knows? We prolly lose against Tampa the following week, and then go into this month with Stu getting his butt outcoached by opposing OCs.

Hopefully-assuming Wade stays, he'll get a Dom Capers to coach to defense.

When the 4th quarter rolled around, Fox's Curt Meneffee(sp) said that he was switching to another game b/c our game was "not competitive anymore".

One would think it was US blowing out the lowly Rams...but yeah, who would have thought the other way around?

So lets just check this for sunday...

Jones is for sure out. Hamlin could be. Davis is, or isn't, according to which post, in multiple threads, you decide to go with.

We're seriously going to be going into the Giants game with a secondary that is missing at least one corner, maybe two if Jenkins can't play, and none of our top 4 safeties.

Wow.

Unlucky draw. Still have to suck it up and win the game though.

Yeah, i read it. As far as i'm concerned there is nothing new here. Players say a lot of crap to each other during every game. I still remember LT (Giants) on the sidelines yelling at someone on the field how he was going to kick his *%$#@ *ss when he came back on the field.

That was directed towards Theismann correct? :p:

Irrespective of the teams involved, I'd much rather see NFL players playing with emotion like in the Dal/Pitts game than laughing on the sidelines when getting blown out or chumming it up with the opposing team between plays.
Anyone old enough to remember Diron Talbert threatening to break Staubach's leg (or something to that effect) or Hollywood Henderson body slamming Bradshaw in the SB and inciting a near riot?
It used to be you watched a riot to see a football game break out.
Ahh, good times.
