Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips hasn't spoken with the media since the press conference following the final game of the season, but plans to break his silence at the meetings on Wednesday during the annual NFC coaches breakfast with the media . . . Expect the NFL on Monday to at least announce the opening week's high-profile television games, including the Thursday night Kickoff Game, along with several other TV events . . . Games averaged 44.06 points a game in 2008, the ninth highest total all time and the highest since the 1970 seasons . . . Total yards also were up, 654.5 a game, the eighth highest all time . . . And kickers set an all-time NFL accuracy record by making 84.5 percent of field-goal attempts, "so obviously the kicking ball issue that we had in the past I think has been solved as the field-goal kickers are kicking at a rate we've not seen before," McKay said.

I hope we get the preseason schedule. I am waiting to settle the dates on the family vacation around the cowboys home preseason games.

I dont think they come out until second week in April.

I dont think they come out until second week in April.

The regular season schedule comes out around that time, but usually we get the preseason opponents and where they will play after the owners meeting in march, I thought. They just dont have the exact dates.

I am hoping they are released soon.
