I was in ATL last week for our annual McDonald's who can flip the burger the best meeting.

Is this a joke that I'm missing or a reference to a real event?

QB Kellen Moore - sure but no guaranteed money.
QB Mark Sanchez - terrible. buh-bye
RB Lance Dunbar - good riddance
RB Darren McFadden - injury risk still. return if the price is right.
WR Brice Butler - not bad for a 4th or 5th receiver. Not a priority and only if the price is right.
WR Terrance Williams - not bad for a 3rd receiver. Decidedly mediocre WR2. Not against it if cheap.
TE Gavin Escobar - vet minimum
G Jonathan Cooper - would like to see him return but no guaranteed money
G Ronald Leary - would pay him $7m which is likely not enough
DT Richard Ash - don't care if cheap.
DT Jack Crawford - great backup 7th or 8th DL. Unfortunately forced into starting role. Reliable so would guarantee some money on a multiyear deal but modest AAV.
DE Ryan Davis - see Ash
DT Terrell McClain - needs to be priority but tricky because he was only healthy in his contract year. definitely worth the amount Thornton got
LB Andrew Gachkar - solid backup that plays well on teams and when called to action. Would like to see return.
LB Justin Durant - love his instincts in pass coverage. likely to be cheap and would like to see back.
LB Rolando McClain - not only no but hell no. Would require a lot of proving to even consider a vet min deal.
CB Brandon Carr - if he is willing to come back for what he agreed to last year or a modest raise then yes please. Extremely reliable.
S Barry Church - back at the same cost works for me.
CB Morris Claiborne - he's year to year but deserves a modest raise over his pittance from last year.
S J.J. Wilcox - he's finally starting to realize his potential. pay him Church money --not very much-- and get him back.

DE David Irving he has no leverage. He will be back the next few years.

Yeah I didn't get that. If he was referring to the players, I have never understood that sentiment. Most of them have some college education at the very least.

Early morning typing will get ya every time. While at my meeting last week in ATL the buzz from all the ATL hometown people just made me sick it was them and not DFW with the same buzz and excitement of going to the SB.
