Mickey, Mickey, Mickey. We know your on ol Jerry’s payroll ....

People aren’t angry we didn’t sign people to outrageous contracts or go crazy with signings.

We are angry, that we have yet to do nothing again.

We don’t need Earl Thomas, Malik Jackson etc. But it would nice coming away from this with a starter or two .... and also not pumping that “hey! We signed our own!”

"But too many of you watch the Cowboys patiently wait out this first wave of free agency. Teeth start gnashing. Fists start pounding the table."

"Mickey starts kissing."

I hate him almost as much as I hate Rowdy.
He’s a tool. Excuse maker for the Jerry, JG and the FO. It’s unbelievable year after year the excuses he makes for the organization. You can be a company guy and also call them out when they aren’t doing a good job. He is a corporate tool

The worst thing is that Mickey (and ultimately the Jones’) know there are tons of fans willing to gobble up this BS. Looks like the Cowboys have put out their official press release lol.

We get this story every year from Mickey.

It should shock no one that once again the Cowboys are on a PR push to explain their FA deficiencies.

And all you need to know about Mickey is his little diatribe about Heath having a couple less interceptions than Thomas.

Right there, that idiotic statement sums up that homer.

Sign Your Own: Do the Cowboys get credit for franchising and attempting to sign to a long-term deal DeMarcus Lawrence, ranked by nearly everyone the top free-agent in the market this year? Doesn’t that count? And what about trying to figure out how to lessen Amari Cooper’s $14 million base salary this year by signing him to a long-term deal at age 24?

Yes, Mickey, let’s give credit for making decisions that a 15-year old fantasy football GM could make.

They even allow them to be critical, he apparently wants harmony when he does his Cowboys TV interviews with the FO and coach.

And just about everything in this article is right. Washington will still suck after paying their safety. The jets will suck. The Browns will probably find a way to screw up. We’ve drafted better than just about everyone in the last 4 years. Now we gotta keep what we have and not buy someone else’s leftovers.

Oh and no Mickey, you don’t get credit for being active in FA for signing your own guys. Because that’s just keeping the status quo.

Sure, bringing Lawrence back is great but how does that move improve the roster above what you finished the year with?
