what has it been? just the whole team? i wont say its 100 percent coaching, but coaching has got to take some of the blame. where do you set it?

It depends on the season. The 2010 team wasn't good, across the board. There have been coaching lumps, which *everybody* ought to have seen coming and which everybody ought to have been patient with, given we'd hired a first time HC who hadn't had a ton of coordinating experience. We made the wrong DC hires, and then we've been very gradually rebuilding the defense since 2013.

Then again, I don't think there ought to be that much 'blame' going around, anyway. That's like blaming your general contractor for a house not being very complete while he's still doing the framing. Garrett has built one of the best teams in the NFC. It took longer than anybody wanted, but the progress has been real and it has been significant. Some fans need to respect how difficult the task actually is a bit more than they do.

And we are the best drafting team over the past six years according to an article recently... And certainly, the argument has been made by many here that we are amongst drafting royalty lately... So it can't be talent, then.

Gosh darn, it must just be rotten luck, then.

Or....we drafted a lot of talent to turn a really bad 1-7 team into a good one.
Gosh, darn. Funny how that works.

ask the Giants how they did with a first time HC. The response might shock you.

I've always said Garrett is a really good Monday-Saturday coach.

It's Sundays I worry about. His bland style of football and just ignoring the chess side of football really hamper this team at times.

that is true, but the other teams got rid of them. we keep ours.
They got rid of them after winning 13 and 12 games in a 3 year span with the other year one in which you lost your pro bowl qb for the season?

Where? When?

ok now we change the arguement. yes, teams get rid of bad coaches. no winning a season here or there does not make you a good coach. can you string it, can you win the play offs? does your organization care about the SB, some dont. We pretend we do, idk anymore.
