Quarterback Coach;3080590 said:Okay...you want to take personal shots I'm game...wait, who did I yell at last year:
a) Read = fired
b) Stewart = fired
c) Carpenter = certainly NOT worth yelling at after watching him today...you're right,
d) Campo = has done a GREAT job coaching the secondary...yup,
e) Wade = has done a great job as Head Coach...let's extend him NOW!!! Can't let him get away!!!
Oh, and yelling after the St. Louis game was out of line after all the St. Louis loss had no impact on this team last year and St. Louis was what 13-3??? Oh, wait...
Like I said earlier...blast me now...agree with me 2 weeks later. I'll go ahead and add you name to that list now to make it easier for us both. Your welcome.
Yakuza Rich;3080648 said:Eh, it was a bad game.
I don't think we really came out and thought the Packers would just roll over for us. There wasn't a lot of players playing poorly, but more or less a few players playing poorly and then a few players that didn't play bad or great, but made some key mistakes that we couldn't afford.
Hey, the defense allowed 3 points in the first 3 quarters despite the offense having a lot of 3 and outs.
But, they did keep on fighting....both offensively and defensively.
The next 3 games will show what this team is made for now.

I for one agree coach. I am so disapopointed by this loss I can hardly express how I feel. I thought if we won today, this "all we have to do is step on the field to win" attitude is gone. But it's not.Quarterback Coach;3080320 said:Not an overreaction, so stop before you even start...this is merely an observation that keeps getting more and more apparent.
This culture that is continually allowed to permeate throug this team will continue to allow them to be no better than an 8-8 to 9-7 club.
We may have gotten rid of some bad apples, but this attitude of "we can just roll the balls out and win" has got to go!!!
And the "softness" that we show...anyhow,
Blast away, say whatever you want, but the QB has it, the receivers have it, the head coach allows it, 54 absolutely has it, and whenever they win a big game, they take a step right back and allow a letdown. They also play to the level of their competition way, way to much. Ask yourselves how many of you are actually surprised by this loss following the Philly game?
It starts from the top and can be seen thorughout the team in their body language. Think body language is n't a big deal...you're wrong, it tells a lot!
(Oh, and by the way, you guys that blasted me last week when I said we cannot run screens well...YUP I WAS WRONG...WE RAN THEM TO PERFECTION TODAY huh???)

RoadRunner;3080433 said:I think you have to be delusional or intentionally lying to yourself so you can zing somebody on a forum if you think this team is tough after the last season and a half of example after example. Maybe that 44-6 was manning up in your opinion? Maybe that loss to the Rams last year was hard nosed? That same loss to a Rams team that then lost 17 in a row after that? That same loss to the Rams that ultimately cost us a playoff spot? Or maybe that meltdown in Pittsburgh? Perhaps it was that last game in Texas stadium vs the Ravens? That sure was some show of mental and physical strength!
Vintage;3080688 said:Your yelling probably influenced the decision making there, imho.
Not even sure what this means. But sounds good.
Quarterback Coach;3080704 said:I'll be more than happy to add your name to the list as well. Remember this link when 2 weeks from now you start screaming the same things. I will gladly accept your apologies then with NO hard feelings at all.
Of course you may just be happy with 8-8 mediocrity. If that's the cas ethen yes. I must say sorry to you for expecting more from our team. So thank you for you wonderful post and as mentioned...see you in December when you won't say it, but WILL think it..."damn, he was right."
Quarterback Coach;3080729 said:a) My yelling was me getting my frustration out, but MY POINT was how funny it was that everyone was upset with me about it, and then....by season's end was walking step by step with me...and,
b) That means...that by season's end you will stay not like me, but have to admit to yourself that I was right.
I'll save a seat at the table for you.
theebs;3080746 said:Feel free to put me on whatever list you have created to make yourself feel really important.
In two weeks when we are 8-3 hopefully and getting ready for the giants, the biggest game of the year I wont even remember this foolish thread.
Vintage;3080755 said:What exactly am I supposed to be admitting you are right on?
OK.Quarterback Coach;3080812 said:Okay I will be serious. You will admit that the original basis of this thread that the "culture" is a HUGE issue. I am not talking team chemistry, personalities, etc. (i.e. TO stuff)...
What I mean is that the team thorugh a lack of leadership, coaching, whatever has way, way too many instances of letting let downs occure. Being okay with penalties becuase "they happen." Allowing stupidity to reign.
That is the culture that must change. Again, my point was how many are actually surprised at how flat we came out after a big, big win last week? That's all.
WhoDat;3080368 said:Drivel.
Vintage;3080847 said:OK.
I already think we get penalized too much.
I am annoyed with some of the stupid penalties we get. That's hardly groundbreaking stuff there. Its not "your idea." This has been discussed time and time again for years.
Again, you are merely repeating stuff that has already been said.
