romo, it would ease alot of concerns this organization has had and we could finally settle in with the guy we have been waiting 7 years.

I'm with you...Romo is the engine that drives this machine while the others are luxuries. You have to find the QB first since it is the most important part and you can replace the others if needed for a rest or a series or two, but, the QB is out there all the time...

I agree... Romo. With our two first rounders next year, if we can find our QB of the future, we have all the makings of being a perennial contender again. I would really prefer NOT to have to use one of those 1st rounders on a QB, since there is so much pressure associated with hitting on a first round QB. If we can get #2, the rest of the tweaks (if needed) can be taken care of.

But it would be nice to have at least SOME improvement on defense to go with it. We've spent a lot of early picks on defense, and if these guys can't get it done, it will feel like a lot of wasted picks.

#1. Until our D is a force, we will struggle in January. I'm less concerned about the offense. The only other pro-defense choice is #4 for I don't see the offense dropping to #20.

#4. Just revisit the 2002 season. The Buccaneers had the 24th ranked offense, the #1 ranked defense and were hoisting the Lombardi trophy the following January. I could like with those results.

Numbere 2 without question. Have your QB of the future set is a necessity, yet so many teams don't have this. Like it has been said already, 2 first round picks next season makes fixing the other 5 things easier, but finding a quality QB that will be on your roster for 8-10 years in PRICELESS.

#4. Without a D this team will go nowhere. However, the team will go nowhere without Romo either. (Nowhere=SB) It will however go a lot further nowhere with the #1 D than the other nowhere with the 20th ranked O.

Know what I mean Verne?

Give me #1 or #2 I think both would be huge and help the team.

The way I see it..........If you have#5 then that means # 2,3, & 6 is doing their part in a big way and putting up excellent stats. And if #4 is the top D in the NFL then number 1 is playing at a "Defensive Player of Year" level.

I would like to see #4 because I believe #5 will work itself out and be as productive if not more than last yr.

Who are they to limit my choices and give me either-ors? I can choose to have whatever I like so I choose:

Our offense and defense are both #1 as Ware, Romo, and Julius Jones have monster seasons and the Cowboys go on to win the SB over the Patriots 41-13.

Two words, Marion Barber.

If Marion Barber runs for 1700 yards and 14 TDs, we will also win 12+ games

If the two combine for 3,400 yards and 28 TDs, the '72 Dolphins won't be needing the champagne this year

Indeed. This is a convoluted way of asking: offense or defense?

In which case, I say offense every time.

It would have to be Romo lighting things up. The defense will be fine IMO and if Romo has a career year like that... we'll make a deep run.
