never has a player this good been this summarily and unfairly dismissed in the NFL, ever.
So true. I can't think of one....can you?

Same ol same ol....... continue to make excuses for a QB who cannot figure out a way to LEAD. I , for one will not miss him.
When Big Ben rolled into the league, he had a stellar defense. We have never had a defense.
What happened when Big Ben's defense aged and became somewhat average? 8-8 seasons?
This reminds me of something.
Nice read...enjoyed it. If had some one on one confrontations with the toilet paper bunch, I'd take then and upend their stance until their heads were in a john...and just FLUSH!
The man has earned some respect for his play in Dallas, and the media should reflect that. Instead of being like Houston and running an all world running back and Bum Phillips out of town. Maybe the Romo, Jerry, Jason haters should just shut up before they become just another Houston.
Well that escalated quickly.
Very good Pro Romo article. Your right on all points although Romo does seem to escape any ownership in critical losses. The only thing that bothers me is when Romo was injured, Kitna came in and actually done well. Orton also came in and done well. I love Romo but when he's gone, and we get a good replacement that takes us to the SB, Romo will be another Danny white afterthought. Also, every year we defend Romo in the offseason because the critical mistakes have faded somewhat from memory. I do think he's our best option right now at QB, but my feelings won't be hurt when we draft someone else. This game is not about Stats, its about winning and losing so your right about that. I am a Romo fan because he's the QB of the Cowboys but I don't trust him. When the games on the line he's like a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs.........

A look at the most scrutinized player in the NFL:
What this world needs is another opinion on Tony Romo. I’m certain of it.
Please bear with me and resist the urge to eye-roll. Throwing my hat in the contributors ring around here should call for an initiation of sorts, complete with a formal declaration, as in Name, Rank, Serial Number, and Stated Position on Tony Romo. I know and accept that what I say here will be held against me forever more, and might even prompt an audit.

Look at what he's had to lead. What he's accomplished has been nothing short of miraculous. Now, with a better offensive line, hopefully he won't have to be the only chance this thing has. Still need a pass rush on the other side.
Enjoy the next succession of Quincy Carter, Anthony Wright, Ryan Leaf, Drew Henson, Chad Hutchinson, Vinny Testeverde, and Drew Bledsoe.
Yep. and it's been that way going on 9 years now. what are we going to miss. 1 playoff win in 9 years with him as the starting QB? no playoffs in 4 going on 5 years? if you ask me, we won't miss much.Same ol same ol....... continue to make excuses for a QB who cannot figure out a way to LEAD. That one playoff win wouldn't even exist without Romo.
Don Meredith
I hear from the old-timers that Dandy Don actually PARTICIPATED in more than 1 playoff win.
