Tapper (133.7) was the 4th rated Edge player.
He's more athletic than 85% of his NFL peers.
One thing SPARQ doesn't do is look at factors such as height and length, which can be of huge importance in the game of football.
A metric called Slaytics does.
BTB mentioned it back in May when looking at the overall athleticism of Dallas' 2016 rookie class.
Tapper's combination of size, length and athleticism puts him in the 96.7 percentile.
That is rare air.
None of this means Tap is a great pass rusher, just that the raw ability is there and it was held back playing in Oklahoma's defensive scheme.
