I'm not sure what the conditions were for the 7th Rnd pick. But I would wager they weren't met. I wonder if he got too big (was in the 3-4) and lost some explosion. Just looking at his youtube highlights I thought he looked better than Crawford. Crawford looked a little limited and even awkward (raw). He could have improved although I never noticed much from either when they've been out there.

I think the condition was that he had to be on the 53 man roster for 10 games, but I can't find a link to back it up.

Agree that Edwards probably got too big playing as a 3-4 DE. He had good explosiveness in college. It would be good to see him take Keith Smith's practice squad spot.

Not necessarily scared as much as nervous, intimidated, and well... yeah scared. Scared works.

We traded Tennessee a 7th Round conditional pick for Edwards before the season began. Mocking someone (who is right BTW) when you don't even know who the players are on the team you say you are a fan of.....Classy.

Conditional pick usually is they have too play certain amount of snaps too get the 7th, don't be ur prized if he comes back too PS too replace Smith.

Crawford looked better in the límited time he had vs the Titans than Edwards vs the 49ers. Of course both will be gone once Lawrence & Spencer are back
