Way too much material there to work with.

The funny thing is that he is very well known in his field. So if it had worked, every time a surgeon said "Nurse, give me a Hard Ahn", everyone in the room would know it was his joke.

Saw some tweets that he was lining up at OLB, End in base and even inside on subpackages.

So it could be a case of numbers along with mismanagement.

Right now, they can't find a spot for Myles Jack either.

I feel sorry for them. All that talent and not enough spots.

Over at SB Nation’s Jaguars blog, they did this analysis of his sacks per snaps in comparison to some of the guys he was playing behind. This is part of the reason the fans were so high on him, and so exasperated with the Jaguars for not giving him more playing time.

Snap counts over the last two seasons (via Football Outsiders) and sack totals over that time are as follows:

Ryan Davis: 550 snaps. 10 sacks

Andre Branch: 926 snaps. 7 sacks

Chris Clemons: 1,451 snaps. 11 sacks

Average out their pass rushing efficiency and the numbers come out to this:

Ryan Davis: 1 sack every 55 snaps

Andre Branch: 1 sack every 132 snaps

Chris Clemons: 1 sack ever 132 snaps

The Jaguars never gave Davis significant playing time. 550 snaps over two season averages out to about 17 snaps per game.

Not really, running a 3-4 the D linemen are not really pass rushers. Their pass rushers are their OLB's.

Sheldon Richardson is one of their 3-4 OLB pass rushers. He's 300 pounds. But their best pass rushers are still their 3-4 DEs, Wilkerson (320 lbs) and Williams (305 lbs). Plus their NT McClendon (320 lbs) had 2 sacks this last game.

Imagine if word got out the Cowboys said something like that about a high draft pick.

i dont think its a negative, they are not sure to play him at mlb or wolb.

i believe dallas said they didn't see him as a mlb either.
