He still has a chance to stick. He'd have ZERO chance if this was Jimmy's 90's team. Zip.

You think the players got the white house after Jimmy left? :laugh2: How about Eric Williams he managed to stick around after getting into trouble.

A "should" doesn't amount to a pile of beans when it comes to what Jerry Jones wants to do. Just look at Kieth Davis as only one example. Go back to the 90s and you'll find even more. It's sort of a badge of honor. Heck, even Barry Switzer was packing heat in an airport. In Texas, the defense is that famous people need to protect themselves from... fanatics. ;)
Keith Davis was shot. He was not pointing a gun or brandishing a gun at anyone.

Bary Switzer wasn't either. His was in a suitcase.

It's not the same thing.

Dallas Cowboys fullback Deon Anderson is accused of pulling a loaded gun on a man during an early-morning dispute outside an Addison restaurant earlier this week.

Addison police issued an arrest warrant for Anderson, 27, Wednesday afternoon on a charge of deadly conduct, a Class A misdemeanor. Anderson previously was arrested, jailed and released on outstanding Irving traffic warrants after the Tuesday-morning incident.

According to the arrest-warrant affidavit on the deadly conduct charge, Anderson was having problems with his vehicle about 2:15 a.m. outside the BlackFinn restaurant in the 4400 block of Belt Line Road near Midway Road.
He accused another man, 31-year-old Mekonnen Geji, of tampering with the vehicle, the affidavit said.

Geji "stated Anderson retrieved a handgun from the car and asked him why he was laughing," the affidavit said.

Police found the gun in nearby shrubs. It was loaded with a round chambered, the affidavit said.

Anderson's brother, Devon Anderson, 25, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

An Addison jail official said Deon Anderson was not there as of Wednesday evening.

Neither Anderson nor Cowboys officials could be reached for comment Wednesday night.

Under the NFL personal conduct policy, Anderson could face a fine or suspension.

I honestly question your intelligence and your incoherent drivel certainly doesn't help your cause. Anyways, I live in Texas and would be glad to PM you personal accounts of "Cops Gone Wild" if you'd like, or you could continue to live in your fantasy land of gumdrops and lollipops. They're human, and they have literally no restrictions on getting a badge, it's ignorant to believe the law is their first priority.

That being said, valets jack stuff all the time. You don't think some guy making 9$/hr won't rummage through someone's benzo after getting handed the keys? Child please to that. I think Deon probably got pissed at him but there is no doubt in my mind that he did NOT pull a loaded gun on an employee in a parking lot. Plax wasn't even that dumb and he shot himself. There's more to the story than that, plus they didn't even charge Deon with Public Intoxication after they nabbed his brother with it. So Deon was sober, and a gun was found in the bushes with a round in the chamber.

How do you know the valet didn't put the gun in the bushes to jack when he got off work? It's not like he can put it in his pants and go back to work. I'll let him have an actual defense before I call him a gun waving maniac.

The extent to which you and CowboyMcCoy are going to protect your boy Deon is laughable. You guys actually expect people on here to believe that Valets are all theives now and Police plant evidence.

You guys are embarrassing yourselves in this thread, seriously.

Accused of, allegedly, according to a complaint... any of the above, take your pick. You are stating this as if Deon most definitely, for a fact, brandished a gun and threatened someone.

So there's no doubt in your mind at this point?

Get him out of here.

You don't want idiots on your team and it would send a message to some of the other guys who live on the fringe.

I guess I only have one question for those who are convinced he is being framed by a valet and police officer at the same time.

Why is he concerned over losing his job if he did nothing at all wrong?

http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=177386

Maybe because a reasonable person values their job and a reasonable person is aware of how people become alarmists when these things happen. And a reasonable person can see how this could cause the owner to become concerned. If I read it correctly, Deon said, "I need to talk to Jerry." You think he wanted to tell him his side of the story or something?

No, according to Hostile, he's guilty as charged because, well, he's going to be charged.

Bravo.

I can read just fine, it is your understanding of the law that is confused.

You do realize that police officers actually do interviews and investigate a crime scene before just taking anybody's word of what happened, right???
If all of this is made up, how did Deon's gun end up in the bushes???

This speaks for itself.

If your answer is that the valet or the police officer planted the gun, my response is either "how did the valet know Deon had a gun?" and "You better have some dam good evidence before accusing a Sargent on the Addison Police Force of planting evidence".
As does this about your comprehension level. Being that the "victim" was Deon's valet, the dude had the keys.

:laugh2:

And how dare I accuse a Sargent of police. All being a Sargent of police means is your willing to accept the corruption of other police. You really have no idea how the system works, and you have this fantasy notion that police are honorable and credible people in general, which couldn't be further from the truth.

You haven't changed much. You still think you're omnipotent, can put words in other people's mouths, point fingers at others, escape all semblance of foolishness, and do your little superiority dance. Just like McNabb. Nice air guitar too.

Point of fact, I never said he was guilty. Not once, not ever. So kiss my ***. It is not my fault if you cannot understand what I am saying, and no I am not going to explain it to you. I won't waste my time.

I will say your gyrations in this thread are ignorant at best. That's right, at best. I hope you do not become a Defense Attorney. Juries will be turned off and your clients will fry for jaywalking.

Your theories remind me of the movie "Trial and Error" where the guy who played Kramer was an actor who ended up pretending to be a lawyer and trying to defend Rip Torn who was accused of fraud, and he blamed it on sugar.

Then again you have nothing to lose by looking foolish to others. Again, nice air guitar, but your dance moves suck.

Cowboys should part ways with Anderson

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Just when you thought Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had chased off the troublemakers at Valley Ranch, starting fullback Deon Anderson has been charged with misdemeanor deadly conduct for allegedly pulling a gun during a dispute at a Dallas area restaurant early Tuesday morning.

Anderson

Anderson was actually arrested at the scene over traffic warrants issued by the city of Irving, Texas, but the gun charge obviously takes this situation to a different level. A restaurant employee who filed a criminal complaint said Anderson retrieved a handgun from his car and threatened him with it, according to the police report. Police who were called to the scene of the disturbance retrieved a gun from some nearby shrubs and discovered it was loaded with a round chambered.

Anderson told ESPNDallas.com on Tuesday that his car wouldn't start after using the restauraunt's valet service and he wanted to know why. He said he did not put his hands on anyone and did not use profanity. But from the sound of these allegations, whether or not Anderson used foul language is the least of his worries.

I think the Cowboys should move quickly to cut Anderson. No matter how this ends up in the judicial system, it appears that Anderson used extremely poor judgment. He faces up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $4,000.

Its not like this guy was all world or anything. And we do not need people with lousy judgement.

If he is guilty ....... I hope he is cut.

If he is not guilty ...... I hope he is vindicated in this beyond a shadow of doubt.

Either way ..... he is an average player at a position this team no longer puts an emphasis on.

If he actually pulled a gun on a person then yes he should be suspended and cut loose however if that ends up not being the facts then there is no reason to cut him due to this.

Oh, the you haven't changed much jab. I'm so hurt, Hos. Just like McNabb. What a foolish thing to say. Read the posts you've written. This is nothing but you backpedaling and disguising it as bad 'ol Cowboy McCoy making McNabb like gyrations. It couldn't be further from the truth.

You're moon walking like Micheal Jackson here. You implied he was guilty. That's the bottom line. Gyrate on that.

Sounds like a rhetorical question implying Deon is guilty of wrong doing. Don't explain it to me. Because you can't explain how you're not implying Deon is guilty before you know all the facts. O noos. He wanted to talk to Jerry. He must be guilty, right? You don't have say exactly what you were trying to imply for it to be understood.

Carry on, though, the personal attacks work well for you.

The gun in the bushes says it all IMO. He would have been better advised to put it back in the car and deny the whole thing. He's innocent until proven guilty or he plea bargains. He will be suspended by the league and probably cut by the team. He's in a pickle.
