Man they look just like they did last year 3 and outs and Jason Campbell/Lionel Ritchie king of the checkdown 5 yrd pass is bact to form!!!

I was looking at nfl.com. Both the Eagles and the Skins are looking pretty bad.

its only preseason...

Yeah....I know.
But it's always fun to see our rivals stink it up. Even if it doesn't matter.

very true.:starspin

Orakpo's looking pretty good (albeit against backups), and Joe T just compared him to Ware.

extremeskins is probably in meltdown already. There's going to be 5 START COLT BRENNAN NOW threads by the time the game is over.

I LOL'd at this post, most heartily I might add.

In a departure from last year, the local NBC station is broadcasting the game in SD, which sucks beyond belief.

Orakpo looks a little on the smaller side. He looks nothing like Ware...Joey T is such a homer.

They list him as 6'4 260 lbs, which is insanely big for a 4-3 linebacker.

I might eat these words, but I don't think it's a stretch to say Jason Campbell's never going to be a "scary' quarterback to face. I think best case scenario, he develops into a safe quarterback who doesn't mess everything up and can win games 17-14, 16-10, 20-17, with a bunch of 13-20, 170 yard type games.

CAPT OBVIOUS SAYS:

The inactives included: CB Carlos Rogers; RB Clinton Portis; G Randy Thomas; WR Santana Moss and DT Albert Haynesworth. Those are some HUGE holes.

That being said, I was satisfied with the 1.5 drives the first team had figuring the line was in shambles.

IN RESPONSE TO THE THREAD

-It is only preseason, but I'd rather win

-Orakpo looked good but slow to read on screens

-Colt can't have more than ONE "start me" thread. It's REALLY old and titled the CULT of COLT. Collins, Daniels and Jason have there own as well.

-I like getting wreaked in the first game, cleans out the bugs EARLY!! Pittsburgh is next......it'll probably happen again

-Jarmon looked pretty good against 2nd's and 3rd's

-**** we have a punter!!!

I'm going to summarize this as nicely as I can...

:skins:

To be perfectly candid, if the Cowboys didn't cross midfield on their first 4 possessions and totalled 54 yards on those 4, I'd be more than a little concerned.

I'm starting to get a little worried about the skins. Specifically Jason Campbell. I was hoping he'd show something....anything in these games. If he doesn't, they may turn to Todd Collins. Who by all accounts is a real NFL quarterback. The skins could be the 2nd coming of the 85 bears, but with Campbell in there, they'll never succeed. But with Collins, they can actually move the ball.

I believe the skins play pittsburgh next week. They probably won't score AGAIN. If they go into thier 3rd preseason game without so much as a field goal (which at this point is a high probability), They may decide to make Collins their starter.

I'm hoping JC works real hard in the next couple of weeks and works his way up to mediocrity, that way Collins stays on the bench.

Orakpo's gonna struggle at outside linebacker in a 4-3. Stupid Commanders.

You want to see your first team put up points.

You want your first team to at least show some execution. The Foreskins did nothing of the sort.

I give Cantbell until the 7th game then he's out of there. He won't be back with the team next year.
