Deangelo Hall is a Commander (jerry misses out on one bad charcter player)

I maybe wrong about the Safety over the top. However, how many times did you see Springs or Rogers get beaten by TO? Or a saftey have to make a play?

They smothered him.

well that's pretty much the issue with TO this year he can't get of the line when he gets jammed

And my contention here is that they wouldnt even dare think about trying to play up on him, and that physical, if they didn't have the over the top help. I am willing to bet that Springs, or Rogers, would NEVER attempt to take him that way without over the top help because they would get burned.

I could be wrong though. Maybe they're better corners than I give them credit for but I doubt without the safety help that they'd even chance one time trying to do that press coverage.

I distinctly read that they put Landry in "Centerfield" and used Rogers and Springs on press man coverage. They shut him down.

I was at the game. Landry started in "centerfield" but would always shift to where ever T.O., was.

And I watched the game, rather than reading what the homer writers wrote afterwards, and that wasn't the case.

This would be what was accurate. They wrote he was 'centerfield' cause he started there till he saw where TO was lining up and then moved over the top of him. Horton also did a little over the top of him as well.

It just sounds better for the Commanders corners if the writers will conviently leave out the fact that the safety rolled his coverage to Owens.
