If we could get D Hall for a 2nd Round pick that would be the steal of the draft. He is 24 and still one of the fastest men in the NFL. People were saying the same things about Randy Moss last year. All CBs get beat, the game is skewed towards the offense, but some also make big plays and Hall can do that on defense and special teams.

He doesn't just get beat. He gets torched. That game against Cincy he gave up 3 td's.

Does he have talent yes but he's not worth the headache.

I don't know what Cincy game you are talking about. I remember he did a pretty good job against Chad Johnson in 2006.

Difference is Moss put up the numbers to go with his big mouth.

Hindsight is 20/20. Going to a contending can make all the difference. The Pats somehow seem to get reclamation projects that take less money and all produce. Moss, Vrabel, Seau, Harrison, Dillon, etc...

They played last year and Chad lit him up.

Again all those players except Vrabel put up good numbers on bad/decent teams. You can say Moss was one of the best WR's in the game, Seau was one of the best LB at one time, Dillon was very good on some bad Cincy teams, you can't say the same thing about Hall. I'd maybe give up a 3rd rounder, but no way would I give them our 2nd rounder.

Not sure but it was the game where he cut the I own 85 in to his hair.

Yup, that was preseason. And yeah, Chad made him look like an idiot.

180 yards with one of them on a fluke play counting for 50 yards is not 'overcoming' a defense...

even the game in 06 he is talkin about... Chad had 6 catches, 78 yards and td.

Thats sorta like when D.Hall supposedly shutdown t.o even tho he allowed like 130 yards when t.o was in philly

So I guess Deion Sanders was a piece of crap too since Irvin and Rice routinely owned him?

Please. People need to stop being stupid when it comes to this sort of thing. Good corners, even great corners (Like Deion was in his prime) can and WILL get their butts kicked by elite recievers.

Chad Johnson, mouth or not, like him or not, is an elite reciever and T.O. most certainly is. So it's hardly a crime when these kinds of players beat Hall.

I suppose D. Green should turn in his HoF jacket, the moment they give it to him, cause he dared to not be able to shut down guys like Irvin and Rice as well.

Now, while I'm certainly not proclaiming Hall as good as Deion, or Green, Hall is a very good corner and a significant upgrade from Reeves OR Henry. That said I am not going to be on the picket lines hoping this trade rumor is true and wanting to bring him here. He does have a mouth and he seems to be eternally unhappy. That could just be a side effect of having to play in Atlanta, cause I'm sure I'd be less than thrilled there too.

But at 24, with lots of years (Baring injuries) ahead of him, great speed, and talent I would not be upset, or pissed off, if Dallas were to snag him for a 2nd rounder. He'd be a very nice addition to go along the otherside of TNew, or even if you only brought him in to play the slot.

Again, he's not the best ever, and he's not the best in the league today, but I'd certainly rate him in the top 6-10 corners in the league and that is a vast improvement over where I'd have Henry or Reeves.

Can you really see him getting along with T.O? I can't even see him getting along with Newman.

I'm not saying either. I'm not saying, or advocating (As I mentioned) him being brought here. You won't see me cheering such a move on. All I'm saying is that if it were to happen I wouldn't be upset or pissed about it and the notion that he's somehow a terrible corner cause elite recievers like T.O. and Chad are able to best him is beyond silly.

Hall is not a good CB. Frankly even leaving out his big mouth and everything else he is NOT what we need.

I hope the Commanders offer their 1st for him.

T.O. has already called Danny offering to pay a portion of Hall's salary next year himself for Hall in Washington...... licking his lips at facing Hall twice a year....

lmao

If he was a D-Lineman or Linebacker, I'd agree. Fortunately, he doesn't go up against Tackles very often.
