I thought this was kinda funny, I don't think he's said anything that any NFL fan in a bar hasn't said to me as a (usually) good-natured jab.

Also for those talking about him being a desperate has-been who's going to work at Taco Bell, say what you will about his playing but he's made $46m over his career. He can afford to be chooser, because he aint no beggar. (unless he blew it all, then forget I said it)

If you want attention and clicks, you just need to include the Dallas Cowboys in the clickbait article title and watch the attention roll in.

Nothing to see here. A washed up player needing some attention. And ESPNin running with it.

Wonder if he wants to meet me in Santa Clara in October to see his 49er's get spanked...lol. I was there last year, more Cowboys fans than 49er fans.

I actually like the guy as a player but how a backup 34 year old RB is generating this much attention about where he'd like to play is mind boggling.

DeAngelo being from Arkansas probably grew up around alot of Cowboys fans.

Just being a hater to get attention.

This is one of those occasions when I wished I ran the Cowboys' twitter account. As soon as he is cut from the Stealers, I would remind him that we wouldn't be calling...

The 34-year-old Williams, who grew up as a fan of the San Francisco 49ers, wants nothing to do with the Cowboys -- mainly because of their fans.

"My fandom for the team I was raised as will not allow me to go to the Cowboys," Williams told Schefter. "I'm an '80s baby ... and the 49ers ruled the '80s. The Cowboys somewhat did something in the '90s; I even refuse to give them that. ...

"The Cowboys, they win. They just don't ever show up during the playoffs. They always disappear in the playoffs. I've got a great depiction of the Cowboys' fan base. During the regular season last year, they were on Cloud Nine. You couldn't tell them anything because they were going to win the 'ship -- that's all they said. Fans just got extremely super annoying. Then, the minute they lose, they either got cheated, somebody was hurt, the excuses start flowing. It's just amazing to me. That fan base just in general can't handle defeat. Still to this day, they say that the Dez Bryant catch against the Green Bay Packers was a catch!"
