Look Bill,
I know you don't believe in injuries and I know the Cowboys have a tough opponent after the bye week with the defending NFC champions, but you did bring in Aaron Glenn in case this situation arose. I know Glenn has made some mistakes this year, but he's still been relatively solid in coverage. I know he's not the same physical presence as Henry, but you're going to end up hurting the season more if you force Henry to play too early with this groin tear.
Groin injuries have an annoying tendency to hang around if a player is rushed too early. Someone like Henry who isn't one of the faster corners in the league is going to get burned OFTEN if he can't have full mobility. Teams already pick on him a lot since Terence Newman is quietly becoming a shutdown corner. I really don't want to see the same thing that happened to Kevin Smith after his injuries when he played with Deion. Please don't ruin Henry's confidence back there. I know Henry's injury isn't as serious as Smith's problems, but you get my point.
The Cowboys have a bye week, followed by the Eagles who don't look nearly as good as they used to be, and a then a weak Detroit matchup after that. Save Henry for Denver four weeks from now if you have to. I feel these Cowboys are playoff contenders and one of the main reasons is the shutdown defense that looks damn good with Henry and Newman at corner. I know Philly is an important NFC East game, but please don't risk the entire season for just one game.
