Dear Jerry,
I am a diehard Cowboys fan however, it pains me watching this team week in and week out. Our running game is a void, Demarco Murray has been decent however he has McFadden syndrome.
We need to create a passion for our team to win. This passion is not sideline tantrums by Dez Bryant when we are winning the game. This is not sideline tantrums when we are down by 1 point (and going to lose the game).
Our team is built by over-rated and over-paid players. We are like the New York Yankees with overrated players who are past their prime. We need players that accept their roles and do their jobs. Look at Terrance Williams as an example.
As a fan I would suggest a massive re-haul. I would rather see at this point a complete rebuild or a trade that can revitalize our teams culture. By this I mean, please trade Dez Bryant. Get a couple first round draft picks for him. Or trade him for a starting RB straight up. I am sick and tired of seeing him crying on the sideline and truly just have no respect for him and he does not respect the culture of the team.
As a fan I will always respect our history, but the past 20 years have been pathetic and we have nothing to route for besides an 8-8 team every year. There are no real players to blame (even though I blamed Dez previously). We need a re-haul of our team culture. We need players who truly buy into the system. Our defense is horrible (besides turnover creation) and our running game is crap. We will not make the playoffs this year if we continue this trend.
