Dear Optimists: Isn't it Exciting?

We won't be as banged up next year. We were really lucky for several years with injuries, but last year seemed to be particularly awful. The Tuna used to always say there is a big difference between being injured and hurt, and last year we had a lot of injured guys playing through a lot of pain.

Romo, Barber, Felix, Kosier, Austin, Holland, Newman, Spencer, Davis, Hamlin, McBriar, Jenkins, Adams (he was hurt much worse than many casual fans believe)

Its amazing we were able to have a shot to make the playoffs considering all the things going against us down the stretch.

I am optimistic that Coach Jones will finally put it all together.

Also optimistic that his assistant, Wade Phillips, will be able to display his genius as defensive coordinator. After all the great talent he has brought from his past teams, we can't help but get better.

Also, we probably won't miss T.O. because we have . . . RW and Crayton, anyway and Brookings will be THE MAN on defense.

And we have that great new stadium and a sound system which edits out the boos that will rain down once we meet a good team.
