I'm not taking a qb just to take one with the 4th overall pick. Goff is not worth it. Wentz is the only qb worth the selection. If we dont draft Wentz we need to draft a qb in rounds 3 or 4. Goff is not the answer!

Conner Cook being compared to the top 3 after the Collegiate season, after all their individual years in College. That really says everything you need to know about selecting a 2016 QB in a lacking Draft class at the position.

However, it's just not serious to refrain from FRANTICALLY kneeling down at the alter of strictly post season, pre-draft hype for a Dallas potential BUST QB!!!

Goff was playing really bad before his last 2 games vs cupcake teams Az state and Air force

Cal and Memphis were nothing without Goff and Lynch and that's something you have to factor in too.

In addition, if Dallas drafts one, do they have to start right away?

And in all probability the QB you would draft in rounds 3 & 4 won't amount to anything.

At least with the top three you have a fighting chance.

In a nice QB developmental Draft if they are allowed to learn for 2-3 years, there are a lot more than only 3 QBs that have the pure physical attributes and pro style arms to eventually start in the same capacity.

Not usually true, this year has 8 - 10 pro arms. It's arm strength that makes most QBs, this Draft is deep in developmental physical attributes. It will take 2-3 years for Cordale Jones, Christian Hackenberg, Jacoby Brissett, Dak Prescott, Jeff Driskel and Conner Cook just like Wentz, Lynch and possibly even Goff.

Coker and Hogan have the arm and size as well to develop. While Brandon Allen looks like one of the most Pro-Ready and under-rated in awhile. Allen could be this years Bryce Petty for many past "rueages"

There will be a developmental taken functionally late, and another far too early with similar outcome. Of course I am just a fan, and not a self - proclaimed expert.

When you watched Winston and Mariota you saw franchise qbs. You just did.

Eh, when I watched Marriotta get battered into submission by Ohio St, I wondered if he could take an NFL beating and still do.

I confess that i thought Mariotta would need a year or 2 to even be able to play in the NFL.In hindsight a lot of the Zone were wrong on both of them and most of them will be wrong on Wentz and Goff one way or the other.I just wish our Scouts are better at scouting those 2.

Their will be a QB from this class, not named Goff or Wentz that is destined for greatness. Maybe Brissett, Sudfield or Doughty.

Name them.

C'mon man.. Quit trying make point to meet your agenda, it's embarrassing. The top 4 passing leaders last year..Brees, Rivers, Brady, and Palmer.. All are older than Romo and all have had major injuries at some point in their career. And that's not even mentioning Manning who just retired! Folks are just trying to Brainwash people into hating on Romo. I suspect it's the same folks that have never liked him in the first place. Moving on.. Smh

With these guys you say....heh... Could be OK starters in time.

They've been talked up but this class lacks top 10 talent.

You must have had some serious glasses on to see a franchise QB running that Oregon offense. Because no QB has ever had any kind of sustained success in the NFL. To me it was painfully obvious that Winston was a terrible decision maker, both on and off the field.

Not hard to spin it either way

MY agenda?!?!?
:laugh::lmao::lmao2::lmao::lmao2::laugh:

Please tell me what my agenda is.

The top 4 passing leaders last year..Brees, Rivers, Brady, and Palmer.. All are older than Romo and all have had major injuries at some point in their career.

Now you're changing your own statment. You said they had WORSE injuries than Romo.

Let me ask you this question: Which is worse? An injury to one's leg (ACL) or an injury to one's back (two fractured transverse processes)?

Second, Rivers is younger than Romo, so that rules him out. :)

Third, of Carson, Brady and Brees, Carson is the only one who has missed as many seasons as Romo due to injury. Brady has missed one and has been the pillar of health sense, and Brees didn't miss a season with his injury.

So I really don't understand what your point is.

And that's not even mentioning Manning who just retired! Folks are just trying to Brainwash people into hating on Romo. I suspect it's the same folks that have never liked him in the first place. Moving on.. Smh

What?!?!?!? Who is hating on Romo? I like Romo.
Acknowledging Romo is older and more prone to injury is not hating on Romo. Then again, I'm not the one imagining agendas.
