I don't either, in his limited playing time, since he has been drafted. He has done nothing but improve every season.
He out played Gregory the last 2 seasons, and lucked into them signing him when Gregory bolted for the "Smokies" ... err ... the Rockies.

. You know me how I am, but this one I don't quite understand, are fans just looking for people to cut? He also as you said out played Randy, all season I said RANDY WHO? LOL, also we just signed Armstrong, he wasn't that bad at all to make me say let's cut him.... Sheesh

I am ok with bringing Maher back, but have some better TC competition other than this Vaizcaino guy.
But if they don't bring him back, just as well, not going to lose any sleep over it.

Gotcha, it was crazy how all all all all all season long he made kicks, the kicker we had last year was horrible, so it was good to see a kicker making them. But when it counted uhhhh, I think this team is cursed lol

What I do know is, the Cowboys are at their best when they are able to dominate on the ground. Don't put everything on Dak's shoulders, cut down on the turnovers/penalties, will give us the best chance for success. The offense the last two seasons fell off a cliff, once the run game disappeared, that cannot happened.
It's your ..."don't put everything on Dak's shoulders" comment that leads to the supplemental question, if we aren't going to rely on him, then why do we need a QB taking 20% of the CAP. We'll be paying $15m on RB's if you're looking at a decent running game....and even then it'll be a potential injury concern through the season.
We can't ***** the roster, we need to accept a strategy rather than trying to spread the rest of the CAP too thinly.

You still need a good QB even with a balanced attack. We don't need elite running backs to have a strong run game.

A good QB......who doesnt cost 20% of the CAP as he needs: O-Line, WR'S, running game ....and decent /good back-ups (eg Pollard's injury).....and even then it could well be that the reason for failure is his inability to raise his game under extreme pressure (regardless of the players around him).

The front office has a lot of difficult decisions this offseason, we also have to keep to mind, 3 big contracts are on the horizon: Diggs, Lamb, Parsons.

Dak-team needs cap space and extending his contract is the easiest way to accomplish this by spreading out his guarantees. If they believe he still is their long-term QB, no brainer, but if they have any reservations, leave the contract alone.

Tyron Smith has a over 17 million cap hit this season. For a player who plays a handful of games, not a smart decision, especially now that they have found his replacement in Tyler Smith. Could we see a similar pay cut, like we saw with DLaw? Team can save close to 10 million if he is released, even more if a June 1st cut

Zeke Elliot will either be released which saves close to 5 million, double that as a June 1st cut or accept a major pay cut, which I cannot see happening. Cannot see him accepting a 2-3 million dollar deal.

Players who probably priced themselves off the roster: Shultz, McGovern, Noah Brown, Cooper Rush.

All about the cost: Lve/Wilson. Think they want both back, but they aren't going to overpay either.

Hankins should be a priority resign and won't cost too much money. Watkins probably the same.

Let Barr walk.

Anthony Brown is a 30 year old coming off a achilles injury, time to move on.

Goodwin offers nothing outside of Special Teams, both Joseph/Wright can replace him. Same for Gifford.

Potential Defensive veteran cuts: Armstrong save 5.5 million, did nothing after they stopped all the twists/stunts. Might be him or Fowler. Gallimore is the 3rd string DT, saves 3 million. Lewis saves 5 million where Bland might be a better/cheaper option.

Maher had such a great year, until the yips in the playoffs. Think he returns, but they bring in legitimate competition.
Dallas is bringing back tyron this yr, lawnation talked about some report saying the team is bringing him back. I listen to him while I'm driving, but he did say it. I wish they would extend him with voidable yrs to turn most of his base to a sb.

And they talked about Gallimore and how it was between him and hill on who got released this past season. Think he will be gone as a camp casualty at some point

Yes, it came out that they want him back and may rework his desk. My guess extend him to lower his cap hit

Roy, you know I'm a Dak supporter, he has struggled against the 49ers in back to back seasons, which many do against that defense. To be able to have more success, they are going to have to get more balanced, have legitimate receiver opposite Lamb.
Was there anyone on our offense that didn’t struggle against niners? #1 defense in the nfl. Most fans don’t even understand what that means. That’s how dumb most are.

Resigning Brown and keeping Lewis should be fairly cheap and add valuable depth at corner. Even if Diggs and Bland are the starters, we need third and fourth corners and Joseph and Wright have not shown themselves worthy of just being given those roles.

Most of our players did, but the Eagles did not the next week, which shows that our offense wasn't good enough. Of course, Philly did benefit from San Fran's offense not being able to do much after losing Purdy.
