Now that's a fan! btw I bet the game was great yesterday.

It was a cool experience. For some reason I brought binoculars, but with Jerry's big TV you don't really need them (well, unless you want to see the Cheerleaders better).

My father and I watch every Cowboys game on TV, and this is a tradition we've held since I was about 9. We were playing Philadelphia in Philly and were losing to the McNabb led Eagles at the time.

All Philly really needed to do was run out the clock. My father looked at me and said it was over and turned the TV off. I remember fighting for the remote to turn it on because I was telling him it wasn't over yet. I had this speech for him about believing in the team, and that miracles happen, etc.

Anyhow, my father let me watch the rest of the game and says, " come get me when they lose ". He said it in a somber tone, also in a way to prove me wrong about this game.

Needless to say McNabb rolls out and throws that infamous INT to Roy Williams who takes it in.

I was in shock. I waited until Dallas won, and went into my father's room and calmly said, " Ok it is over."

"Who won?"

"We did of course, Roy Williams took an INT in for the touchdown"

"WHY DIDN"T YOU GET ME?"

"You made fun of me for watching until the very end!"

Good memory.

1993....the Jets game where Kevin Smith intercepted the ball and celebrated by saluting the two marines in the end zone. I was 27 and my whole family including brothers and sisters and grand kids watched the game with my mom and dad. It was a Saturday game in December and we enjoyed a great dinner of fried chicken celebrating another cowboy victory. It was the last time the entire family spent together with my mom.....full of laughter and cheer..... she passed away the next morning of a heart attack.

But the cowboys always brought us together...and I was glad they could do that for us with her one last time.
