Looks like you have a black belt in missing the point.

Unadultered naked eye images and the general opinion of those aboard was in step with mine.

Now how many Empire State bulidings would it take to make up the Gulf?
MetalHead;3456312 said:Today I flew home from Orlando,FL.
At one point during the flight,I noticed a fire burning up in open sea..I told my wife to come and look at this(I suspected it to be the BP oil spill deal).I was correct, the captain piloting the plane instructed everyone who could to look out the left side of the plane and see it.
You could see about a dozen large ships around it,but to be honest,it did not look like that big of a deal.I expected to see a Gulf of Mexico covered in oil, death everywhere, just like the media wants us to think.
Not even close.it is a small speck in the vast gulf.Life will go on.
It is sad to see wildlife perish needlessly, but I assure you, mother nature will prevail.

You do not know who edited it,tampered with...i can go on.
Hoofbite;3456627 said:It doesn't matter what you have seen because you didn't know what you were looking at. Sorry.
You're looking out a plane window the size of a basketball and saying your small little porthole of a view is a better representation than what NASA has shown from space or what cameras flying only a few hundred feet above the water (not 5 miles) have shown.

SDogo;3456687 said:For anyone who does not think it's a big deal and the leak is small in comparison to the Gulf I offer this simple expierement.
I have a cousin who is working FOR BP cleaning up the oil spill. One of the scientist working down there suggested to anyone who did not realize the impact of the spill to fill up their kitchen sink with water. Place a tablespoon of car oil in the water, mix it up and then grab a glass. See if you can get yourself a nice refreshing cup full..............
MetalHead;3456682 said:Wrong in all accounts.
I saw it even before the aircraft pilot mentioned over the PA.
I am not speculating(like you are)...I'm only sharing what I saw and what others saw in flight 328(Airtran MCO-SAT)...you are not.If there is anyone here speaking out of place it is you.you have seen images on tv and internet...I saw it with my own eyes.
If discrediting my eyewitness accounts is a vehicle for you to feel better about yourself, then be my guest. It will not take any sleep time off me at night because I know I have been 100%truthful on this.I have nothing to gain and no I am not a BP shareholder as some house buying fool suggested earlier.
Hoofbite;3456700 said:You're right.
I'll be sure to contact all the experts working on the situation and all the people who are directly impacted by the spill and tell them to turn off their TV sets and buy a plane ticket from Orlando to San Antonio so they too can see the "truth".

If you get a glass of raw sewage and put a drop of fine wine you will have raw sewage.
If you take a glass of fine wine and put a drop of raw sewage you'll get....raw sewage, but the similarities end there.
Fine wine cannot clean itself off raw sewage as nature and salt water can rid itself off pretty much anything. We can seed clouds to make it rain, but can we stop rain when we don't want it to rain?...how about earthquakes, tornados and hurricanes?...can we control them?
No,we cannot,Mother Nature is stronger than all of us,and has a funny way to get rid of things it does not want.Oil spills, floods, heat waves...you name it...Only the arrogance of some has led some fools to believe we can control climate and enviroment. There have been disasters everywhere and guess what?...we have recovered. If you subscribe to catastrophe and eternal damage to Earth, then have a miserable stay on this planet,me,I'll enjoy it.
