Just an alternate name for the position. It's what I grew up calling them. Long snapper seems more recent, but it also could be regionally based.

You know how ungodly long it would to save up just to buy a decent house and have any money left over to not be house-poor, forget all the property taxes? He has only been out of the game for a year. I wonder if he let himself go and accepted retirement or kept in shape hoping someone would need him. Our other longtime snapper, Dale Hellastrae, was cut in March 2001 by us and came back with the Ravens in January 22 to finish the regular season and two playoff games. I think the Giants also had a longtime snapper come back out of retirement to play briefly.

It appears we're going a different direction, but I'd certainly give him a phone call.

I did but my house cars and furniture are all paid for all we pay for is insurance utilities and property tax 957 $ per year Moved to Oklahoma when we retired Property taxes in Dallas county for a much smaller house was 2975 $ Plus we got 10 times more for the Grand Prairie house than we paid for it
