I did but my house cars and furniture are all paid for all we pay for is insurance utilities and property tax 957 $ per year Moved to Oklahoma when we retired Property taxes in Dallas county for a much smaller house was 2975 $ Plus we got 10 times more for the Grand Prairie house than we paid for it
where the hell do you get a house in Dallas County for only $3K in property taxes?
That must be a 900 sqft double wide trailer trash or half of a duplex. Basically a toilet.
I wouldn't consider any house under 4k in sqft and at least an acre in land with trees for privacy.
My best friend lives in an HOA neighborhood in North Fort Worth. They have roundabouts there. His house is small, only like 2200 sqft, only a menial 3 bed / 2 bath and even then he pays over $12K in property tax, and it jacks up every year. True story.
Oh, you meant if you choose to live in a city. I don’t, and live well on far less than that.
No city = no amenities, limited wifi, no social activities, pricey gas, takes forever to get anywhere, even to the grocery store. That'd be a hell no for me.
