Defence grew a pair today

I know the offence was pretty brutal today, mostly because Brad insists on throwing side arm, but at least he didn't turn it over (first time no turnovers for us in what 15 games?) He won the game which really is all you can expect from him. A win is a win is a win.

My major props for today though has to be for our much maligned (and rightfully so, defence). No TDs given up, stiffened when had to, actually got pressure with the front four, played some man, decent tackling. I was pretty impressed with Ball, Scandrick and Jenkins as CBs. They covered better than Henry and Pacman have so far this year that is for sure.

I thought Bradie was a beast today, just what I want to see from him. He is allegedly the leader on defence and for once he played like it.

I know the next game will be tough, road game against the defending champs with Johnson as the QB but if our defence can play like it did today for the rest of the year, once Romo is back, we will be tough to beat.

I am still giddy and the game has been over for eight hours.

They better bring that pair with them against the Giants or it will be a blood bath.

Down here we call that offense and defense. Must be the language barrier.

The Steelers have the #1 D in football!

yeah so, the Giants only won today because the Steelers gave them the game, they barely beat the 49ers, were crushed by the Browns.

They aren't playing well either.

But the Giants won and are 6-1. We barely beat Cinni and it came down to the last play against the Bucs. What's your point?

The Giants won the games they were suppose to and the Cowboys did not.

If the defense can keep playing like they did today when Romo gets back then we should be on the track to the playoffs again

I can't remember the last time that I have seen the Cowboys this banged up.

Plus they needed OT AT HOME to beat the winless Bungles. The media just doesn't bring all this up like they do with the 'Boys.

But since it is a division rival, they will be ready, so the 'Boys need to bring their B game----since their A game is on the bench.:(

or maybe you Americans spell the words incorrectly?

Hey Canadian, I was joking with you. I did not mean in any way to be demeaning. Just kidding around. I only joke with people I like.

Go Cowboys!

yet when we won against the Bengals in a close game, it proved we sucked, what gives?

Despite all of our problems, we can pull within 1/2 a game of that allegedly vastly superior team next week.

Hey, I was glad we won, ugly as it may have been.

Problem is that I can't see how we beat the Giants this banged up and Brad Johnson who threw for 122 yards as the QB.

To someone like me who loves defensive football, that game today was a thing of beauty. And we did it with Newman, Spencer, Roy, and sometimes Henry out.

Great job by everyone. :clap2:
