Defense better than we think?

If Newman doesn't play, I'm not quite so optimistic. He almost single-handedly took control of that game on the defensive side of the ball last week.

Newman just emphasized how two dimensional the Skins are. Take away Moss and Portis and the Skins are enemic. You can bet more teams will copy that approach with the Skins. Portis better get healthy quick.

The only problem I have is the defense thinking it can get complacent with Romo and everyone back and healthy. It needs to not think that way.
