Rodgers is arguably the best or one of the best this game has ever seen and as much as I hate to admit it, it was amazing watching him play live.

I'm sure coaching helps, but you can't really coach great hands, and they haven't been catching everything all year. QB is hot, and so are receivers.

I've always wondered if QBs set the standard for receiver play? For example, New England all their receivers run crispy routes and will put their life on the line to catch a pass from Brady. On the flip side you have receivers like Butler.

They also (literally) have no running back and at times seemed to be throwing on every down. It's definitely a legend building game. If they somehow go to the Super Bowl Rodgers will become even more insufferable than he already is.
That's why I hope he dies in a car wreck before then. Calm down, I'm [half] kidding.

And he gets open like crazy. Led the league in Touchdowns after coming back from ACL.

But whatever...just one of those white receivers. Can't be any good.
People around here know I was always Jordy >> Dez

Aaron Rodgers throws everyone open.

Why does it matter that he's white?

Name one white receiver that gets any recognition.

Go watch a highlight video. Jordy gets himself open a hell of a lot.

Jordy Nelson. Gronk though I guess he's a TE. Welker did when he played. There's been a few. If there were more white receivers who were good, they'd get more recognition, simple as that. Not like there's a racial agenda here, there's just not that many great receivers who happen white.

Seen a stat that GB has scored 66 points in the last 77 minutes since his injury.

No team has done a better job of finding pass catchers over the last 24 years than GB

Sharpe
Brooks
Freeman
The guy that left and played in Seattle
The guy from Florida state
The guy that came from langston(dancing with the stars)
The guy that went to Minnesota Vikings
Jordy
Cobb
#17
#89 from the Favre team that came back a season or so ago
#88 now

Those are the are the guys I remember(sort of),

We've drafted 1 elite one(sort of) in past 20 and a solid 1(Williams)

They can find them anywhere

Very true.

Yet, we find one, and think we're all done at WR position.

Man, I wish we put more stock into finding a contributing WR every year.

No, giving up a 35 yard pass on 3rd and 20 with less than 20 seconds left in a game deciding situation like that disqualifies them from being "good"
I think that's the 'bending' part. That kicker creating history is what broke us. Most teams break when offensive history is created against them, no shame in that. I mean think about it, we didn't control TOP which meant that the D got more than its fill of a streaking Aaron Rodgers, the highest rated passer in league history!! Yet it took this http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...y-packers-historic-2-late-50-yard-field-goals to put us away.

Yep. People are underestimating how depleted this Packers team was. They weren't a good team. All they had was Rodgers. And they still won. Atlanta is much better offensively. We weren't ready to win this year because our defense was not built for the playoffs. We did well in points allowed throughout the regular season because we hardly played any quality QBs and the ones we did play were not at their best. The playoffs is full of elite QBs. You can't give up 90 yard TDs on every drive and expect to win. When our defense lets the other team score at will, it lets them dictate the game. It throws us off our game plan of running the ball and controlling the clock. That's why we threw twice as many times as we ran tonight. We shouldn't have gotten into a shootout with Aaron Rodgers. Championship teams control the terms of the game. We let a worse team control how we played tonight.

I hasten to say this, but the fact that they've had 2 back-to-back HOF caliber QBs playing over what eventually will an uninterrupted 30 year span has a lot to do with it.

Sterling Sharpe was a HOF talent -- but he was drafted back in 1988 (along with Irvin). The rest have mainly been good, very good, etc -- never Top 5 talents.

Its actually shocking that GB has never gone out and found a freak physical WR (like Dez) for Rodgers.

It's hard to put pressure on the QB when the offensive line can get away with blatant holds. How many loss of yardage situations were the Pack on offense ever put into because of a penalty? I counted zero.

I got respect for you, but I'm not the type who gives the credit to the QB when the receiver are getting open.
