They will have to show this new look D can stay with Washington' s receivers. Can't count on the pass rush. Haven't shown it yet. The LBs & DBs are going to determine this game. I don't think they played well last week. I'm looking for that side of the ball to come strong Mon night. Can't wait

I have to agree...
Garcon got us last year for around 17 catches for about 200 yards and we now have Desean to worry about as well. I think our secondary may get a good workout Mon night.

I agree with you, however Mccoy doesnt exactly have a howitzer of an arm, so I dont really think he will be able to take full advantage of all that speed. I do believe we have to be able to tackle well, and keep the YAC down.

He doesn't have a great arm but he'll take some shots down the field and with speed receivers you have to guard against PI and illegal contact calls. With Washington's season practically in the toilet they're in desperation mode and if they don't win Monday Night and get on a run they'll be playing for next year by early Nov. This is a game the Cowboys should win but they had better be focused because if they give up some big plays down the field this game could be a real dog fight. The games that worry me the most are facing teams that are in a desperate situation. Washington is coming off a come from behind win last week and that may have given them a spark.

It would be easy to take this game lightly with McCoy at QB but the Cowboys struggled mightily against a couple of journeyman QB's last season. McCoy is getting what may be his last opportunity to start in the NFL and he did look impressive vs Tenn last week. This is a divisional and conference game that could go a long way in determining where the Cowboys end up at the end of the season. The division title and the #1 seed is there for the taking and the Cowboys can ill afford to slip up against a 2 win team that has QB issues.

I'm a huge UT fan so I will always love Colt for what he did there. But he's not exactly the guy you want under center if you want to utilize these WRs. You are going to see exactly what you saw at UT for 4 years. Everything underneath and try and have the WRs make a play after the catch or just keep moving the chains. Desean is not going to be catching 65yard passes from Colt Mccoy. I'm sure he can barely throw the ball 45yds in the air.

Like others have said, with McCoy we don't really need to worry to much about receivers getting behind our secondary deep cause he doesn't have the arm to take advantage of that

McCoy will throw a lot underneath and will also take some shots down the field and if he doesn't get the completion he'll hope for a PI or illegal contact call. Anytime you have speed receivers there's a tendency to grab to keep them from getting past you. The refs have been calling it pretty tight this season so expect the Cowboys to get hit with at least a couple of calls down the field.

When is the last time Desean has killed us? Can't recall. 2010?

I hope so. This will be my first time watching him for an entire game.

With Jackson, the possibility of giving up huge plays does exist. But overall, McCoy is nowhere near Eli. so if the Cowboys limit the run game as they did last week, McCoy will struggle forcing passes into coverage and under even moderate pressure.

That would be the last time he killed us but he's still a big play threat that has to be accounted for. He's averaged over 20 yards a catch this season and had 157 yards and a TD vs Seattle. Even though he hasn't had a huge game against the Cowboys in 4 years he's not a receiver to be taken lightly would you not agree?

If this defense can contain Brees and Manning I think they'll be ok against McCoy.

Anything is possible but I'm not worried about this game at all. First time in a while I've felt this confident.

I don't really think they contained Manning. They did alright.

If he has a QB who can get him the ball and play to his strengths, sure. But Colt is the opposite of that. Desean is a one trick pony. And you take that trick away, he disappears. I don't fear Colt hooking up with him on the go route.
