He doesn't have a great arm but he'll take some shots down the field and with speed receivers you have to guard against PI and illegal contact calls. With Washington's season practically in the toilet they're in desperation mode and if they don't win Monday Night and get on a run they'll be playing for next year by early Nov. This is a game the Cowboys should win but they had better be focused because if they give up some big plays down the field this game could be a real dog fight. The games that worry me the most are facing teams that are in a desperate situation. Washington is coming off a come from behind win last week and that may have given them a spark.

It would be easy to take this game lightly with McCoy at QB but the Cowboys struggled mightily against a couple of journeyman QB's last season. McCoy is getting what may be his last opportunity to start in the NFL and he did look impressive vs Tenn last week. This is a divisional and conference game that could go a long way in determining where the Cowboys end up at the end of the season. The division title and the #1 seed is there for the taking and the Cowboys can ill afford to slip up against a 2 win team that has QB issues.

Exactly.

If he has a QB who can get him the ball and play to his strengths, sure. But Colt is the opposite of that. Desean is a one trick pony. And you take that trick away, he disappears. I don't fear Colt hooking up with him on the go route.

So because of Washington's QB situation the Cowboys don't need to worry about Jackson? If McCoy can't hook up with him down the field he can take some shots hoping to draw some penalties. That's not a concern? The Cowboys currently rank 16th against the run and have had some issues stopping Morris. If Washington can run the ball it will open up play action pass enabling McCoy who isn't a complete stiff to take some shots down the field. Jackson has hurt several teams with big plays this season and regardless who's throwing him the ball he's a big play threat with speed that can't be discounted.

Again, anything could happen with these two teams, however, the physical play of the Cowboys this season and the determination along with "faceless and nameless" mantra, if Washington wants to come to TX and win this game, they better be ready for a tough fight. This is not last years team!

That is correct.

No, not at all.

Washington can't run the ball against the Cowboys. The Cowboys have had issues stopping Morris in the past. That was the past. This is now.

Jackson has hurt several teams with big plays this season and regardless who's throwing him the ball he's a big play threat with speed that can't be discounted.

I discount him completely. As Blackspider said, he is a one-trick pony. He might get one long bomb against us. Final score 38 - 10.

I'm not sure about your score, bro! lol But, I do agree that just because something happened last year does not mean that it will happen this year. This is a whole new team!

I hate when people say things like "well, last year, blah, blah, blah"!

Last year Seattle won the SB. How do you like them this year?

When is the last time Desean has killed us? Can't recall. 2010?

Dallas usually plays real physical with him and doesn't let him get a clean release. It seriously limits his effectiveness.

I feel better about it since Claiborne isn't in there. He would occasionally just give a guy a clean release for no apparent reason. I think it is part of the coaches frustration with him.

Anyway, I really like the 4 corners Dallas has right now (Carr, Scandrick, Moore, and Patmon), and I feel like they'll limit Washington's receivers enough where they don't get a whole lot on them. There will be some short passes given up, but Dallas will likely take that and be fine with it as long as they limit the RAC.

Kenny Stills and Brandin cooks, are just as fast as these guys. With a better QB, and A All pro Tight End that takes away most of the attention.

So I'm not all that worried.

How do you know they can't run against the Cowboys? In the 4 games Morris has played against the Cowboys he's rushed for 482 yards and 4 TD's. I'm not saying Washington will have success running the ball against the Cowboys but you can't just assume because they're having a great season that this game will be a cake walk. This may very well be an easy win for the Cowboys but hopefully the team doesn't have the same care free attitude stepping onto the field Monday Night as some here or it could lead to an upset loss. I feel very good about the Cowboys chances Monday Night but my point is Washington can't be taken for granted.

The Giants stumbled into Cowboys stadium last Sunday after being blasted 27-0 by Philly and that wasn't an easy win. Although Washington only has 2 wins they've been competitive for the most part this season. Any team that has a couple of speed receivers pose a threat regardless of their QB situation. The biggest mistake the Cowboys can make is to start becoming complacent due to their success. It was complacency that caused the 07 team to go into a tail spin.

The schedule is going to be a real challenge the final 6 games of the season with 4 games on the road so the Cowboys need to pile up the wins early and avoid dropping any games to losing teams. The past few seasons the Cowboys have had a game or two that have come back to haunt them at the end of the year and they don't need Monday Nights game to be one of them. The Cowboys must beat the teams they should beat and Washington is a team they should beat.

That one trick he possesses makes him a threat. The only way I see the Cowboys losing this game is with turnovers and giving up big plays.
