Its been mentioned before, I know, but one today could have been huge.

Theres no real solution here. Were snake bit on making turnovers. Pressure, overrating our own guys, coverage types, DB confidence....who knows

You can't force turnovers playing the defense we do. We play soft coverage. We let the offense come to us, we don't force the issue. We are content with letting the offense drive the ball and our goal is to make them punt or kick a FG. We played Eli, Keenum and Rosen/Fitz and got 0 picks. ZERO. Our only one this year is because of a dropped pass from Ginn. Seems so many of our picks are from things like that. We don't actually make a play on the ball.

This defense needs to be coached at a legitimate NFL level by coaches who know how to place players in schemes that work. At a minimum, learning to fend off blocks and making tackles would be advisable. Another embarrassing display of incompetence. Over-hyped players and overpaid ones, guarantee another mediocre season of false promises.

You know when you watch this league....you see teams recover fumbles, interceptions.....special teams plays......this offense just never has that same opportunities. Not saying it should happen every week but this team just would rather play the hard way. Have to go 80 yards every single possession and score. The game would be a lot easier if you got SOMETHING from those units.

This defense is straight garbage.

Can we not keep contain on the damn outside just one game, please for the love of God.

It's because we have undisciplined and selfish players and when they aren't doing that we are running stupid predictable stunts meaning a DT has to loop to the outside and by then the RB or QB is long gone.

I can almost guarantee our starting field position is worst in the nfl

They will never generate turnovers playing the style of D they play. People need to accept that.

Their system isn't one to "generate" turnovers through forcing bad plays. It's a system based on not giving up big plays and hoping the other team just makes a mistake or two.

While I thought the D played well last year, I still never liked how we play defense. We are too passive and read and react and that's why this team struggles to generate turnovers and put pressure on the QB.

In all fairness our defense lacks creativity. For example the first sack on Rodgers was a all linemen slashing the right Gaps and if I'm right I believe a LB came off the edge going the opposite direction. Stuff like that needs to be done on a regular basis. That is problem no. 2 though, problem no. 1 is stopping the run. Rodgers really didnt do much.

Agreed. 4 total turnovers with just one interception through 5 games is abysmal. In terms of overall points allowed, and points per drive allowed, the defense has been pretty good up until this game. But we've played some pretty bad offenses. And we just have to get more turnovers.

The D doesn't play the ball. If they would turn their heads they wouldn't keep getting PIs and they need to try to strip the ball. It's like it's not taught. It's like they're resting upon last season's laurels.

I didn't know we had that many. Color me surprised.
