Dallas is going nowhere with the defense that they have and now this is the second time we got beaten so badly. This defense is so bad that if Jerry had any sense he would do either two things:

  • Fire Kiffin and hire a new defenses coach

    OR
  • Give the Riot act to Kiffin

Now I know most if not all you guys want Kiffin gone, but let’s realize that Defense has a lot of injured players. Look at the first game against Giants of the season, Dallas had more takeaways then they did last year. Why?? Because the defense was healthy, Ware picked of Eil on the first drive when he was HEATHLY. Now Ware wounded and we are all seeing it happen right before our eyes.

Sean Lee was having a great season until the game at New Orleans where he got injured. He came out to play against Bears tonight on Monday Night Football but didn’t really much. The current starters sans Hatcher and Carr are doing poorly reason being is because IMO of the Injury’s. They two chances to pick off McCrown and look what happen, they mess it up and when they got the pick holding was called on Dallas cause Carr mess up.

Now the Offense didn’t played great but they didn’t played bad…..well not as bad as the D is, while I was watching the game tonight I see people hating on Romo. Let get this clear: ROMO NOT THE REASON DALLAS COWBOYS LOST AGAISNT CHIAGO BEARS. If anything he along with that offense gave the team and us fans hope he hasn’t been picked off by any of the bears and most of the decisions he made was start. Yes he did make some bad choices but look at last year MNF game against the Bears; he made FIVE INTECEPTIONS in that game. Dez and Murry was also giving us hope especially Murry who was the best of the worst on that team offense wise and team wise.

If you ask me he improve compared to last year and the choices he made was because of the bad defense that was happen causing pressure to that offense including Romo. We all expect the offense to make up for the defense but that not going to happen in every game . Looking at the standings we might not make it again to the playoffs and even if we do we won't make it far...

We all saw Jerry in that game watching from afar; let us hope his eyes open up for once this season so he can do something.

Kiffin should fire himself for impersonating a defensive coach.

But I think Jerry and him like to shoot the breeze over some scotch about the times they used to spend in the saloon in the Old West prior to the time they both became involved in football.

Meanwhile nearly every Dallas win has come on the back of a defensive score.

Yet nobody seems to notice the offensive ineptitude.....nobody seems to care.

What's most telling is the Cowboys had 10 days to prepare for this game. You would call that an advantage IF you were a good team. IF.

No way they were winning this game. 8 for 8 in the NFL is ridiculous.

Fail like that effects a team.

That was the worst defensive performance I have ever seen.

If I were Romo, i would ask for a trade. To a team that actually has a shot.....

I feel so bad for T Romo.......he is a great QB. And his career is being wasted...

The Cowboys problems wont be fixed for years to come...at least for 3-5 years.....

Let Romo go.......gut this thing......go 1-15 for a few years....and see if we cant get a few young studs at the right positions...to rebuild a championship team with....and, Romo can get his chance in the next few years....

I am stunned that people don't recognize had BAD our personell. I don't know if Kiffin is good or bad. I know his track record suggests he is good. But I do know that Ware gets blocked one on one all the time. This defense has ZERO chance if Ware can be handled one on one. This defense has ZERO chance if the QB has all day to throw the ball. This defense has no chance if Sean Lee is not on the field healthy and productive. This defense has ZERO chance if Bruce Carter does not show up. So we can talk about coaching all day...but when players are in position to make plays and they fall down, mistime jumps, drop interception, take themselves out of the play trying to get a sack, miss tackles all day long...not sure if changing a coach can fix that.

The defense really is horrible. Unless the defense does a complete 180 this team is not good enough to win a playoff game anyways.. Really sucks but teams that only can play one side of the ball have a limit of how successful they can be especially when the side they actually play well on isn't consistent either.

This team is going to have to make some tough decisions on some of the defensive players.. Brandon Carr isn't living up to his contract, Demarcus Ware is a shell of his former self, Sean Lee can't stay healthy, Morris Claiborne is no where near as good as would justify trading up for him, and Bruce Carter has fallen off the map..

All that said we can still find ourselves in the playoffs this year but games like tonight make it hard to ignore some of the issues that this team is facing going forward.

Firing Garrett will accomplish absolutely nothing.

I don't think Garrett is much of a HC, but Jones isn't hiring the kind of coach that could make headway. He's through walking on eggshells and doing some of his best work.

There's no fix for this.

Only time.

And waiting for the Jones Boys to realize they don't have any idea what they're doing.

Until then, it's just spinning wheels, players and coaches coming and going, with those two changing everything but themselves and trying to sell it to the masses.

Fire Jerry, that's the only way this thing will change.

FIFY

Wait, we can't fire the owner. We're screwed no matter what.

Jerry has to enjoy the heck out of being rich and the owner of a NFL franchise. He can suck at his job so badly for nearly 2 decades, and never worry about job security.

99.99999999% of the world could perform as badly as Jerry has as GM, and we would have been on the unemployment line 10+ years ago.
