Defense Sucks Thread **merged**

No pass rush. No coverage - even when guys are in position they don't make the play or the drop an interception. The situation on defense is epically bad. But the offense? What's their excuse?

Here is an excuse. They know the defense blows chunks, so they feel like they have to press things all the time. When was the last game that Dallse played where we all knew it was up to the offense to win? The last two years the defense has been horrible.

Let's be honest. What side of the ball needs most of the attention this comming off-season? Will you be happy just knowing those that got injured in De this year will be back?

Having to do everything.

Bingo. It is a team sport, but how do you play when you know half your team is completely out classed?

Romo played a role in the loss. He wasn't even the best offensive player on the field for us tonight, so im not sure why we all act like Romo should never take any blame for any of our losses. Our offense didn't gel or get into a rhythem all night. Part of that is on the D. Part of that isn't. Everyone shares blame in a loss.

I'm well aware of what happened in the game. Just as i'm aware that only one QB can play at a time, so im not sure what you're trying to combine having 5 HoF QB's on one roster.

I understood what you meant.. and it still makes no sense. A bad example in trying to make your point.. that's all.

So anyway, yes, our defense is horrendous.. we all are aware of that.

Having said that, i feel that the fact that our D is so historically bad is masking how bad our offense has become. We are so inefficient and seem not able to get into any kind of rhythem anymore. We rarely see big plays downfield anymore, unless its Murray breaking off a big run, and our explosive playmakers aren't getting the ball in their hands enough.

..and like i said, we agree that this defense is historically bad, but its masking our problems on offense. We don't move the ball consistently at all.

Good job efense, for the 2n time this year in a game you have allowed an opposing offense score on every single rive, not even forcing a single punt. Again, goo job, you have one something that is borerline impossible. I don't have the statistics, but I' bet that we're the first efense to ever accomplish this feat twice in a year, mad props.

P.S. - My local high school team coul even get lucky occasionally and force a single punt, and they're not making 50 million this year either.
