I've watch the last three Indy games to their entirety. I am not impressed but I hope Dallas prepares for them like they are the '85 Bears.

They can put up points, but they can give them up too. Who knows.....

I tell you what. Brandon Carr is a weak link. Also the middle of the field is open because our linebackers don't get the proper depth to take away those throwing lanes. That's not a safety problem. They seriously miss Durant and Lee in coverage.

This is true and even though I like some of the play of Hitch, he looks lost half the time in the middle and in coverage!

We miss Lee and Durant in a HUGE way!

Where did that late game pressure on the QB come from? Haven't seen that kind of play all season.

re-watch the cardinals game, our d-line played really good there..too bad we had no offense that game

Agree. I love McClain but I don't believe he's an every down MLB. He's just not agile enough to be good in coverage but he makes it hard to run on us in the middle. Lee or Durant should play those situations.

I love Rolando, the guy is simply a playmaker, if you add Lee and Durant with some new talent in the draft you may just have something!

I tell you who needs to be replaced? JJ Wilcox. All those key tackles in the running game, INT, and fumble recovery are just not good enough. We need a real FS.

LOL.

Yup, and he was the one who forced the fumble too.

2 game changing plays.

Yes, yes, and definitely.

I love Ro, he is the biggest reason this defense hasn't been as poor as it should've been once Lee got hurt.

But I find myself saying, "Lee would've made that play" a lot more frequently.

With the way that Hitchens has been playing, I'm not going to worry if Rolando McClain is a package player. But give him to us for two plays at least.

Give me the combination of Sean Lee, Justin Durant, McClain, and Anthony Hitchens...and I'm a happy camper. Bruce Carter can tag-along, if he signs very reasonably...as he's a plus in packages.

Watching the Seahawks and 49s today showed how important the LB is. The 49s were ahead and as soon as Borland went out the Seahawks offense came alive.

The interesting thing to me is how we played the run with six. Running the ball is as important to Philly's success as it is ours, but you didn't see eight and nine Cowboys in the box.

I think they owe Mark Sanchez a fruit basket or something. He lost anything resembling pocket presence that last quarter of the game.

Not trying to take away from the D, but still, Sanchez missed several wide open receivers down the stretch.

You can close the thread. That unit is crap.

Dirty Sanchez is great with the dink and dunk stuff.

Ask him to carry the load on a 3rd and long, and you saw the results ... albeit he got lucky on a few long throws.

Deny the run, as we did, and you'll see the real the reason why the Jets gave up on Dirty Sanchez.

They really did come through. Great performance when the game was in the line.

In terms of a performance review the defense is far exceeding expectations. It's been put together at Wal Mart while the offense has been put together at Neiman Marcus so anything good that it does is a plus.

I'm glad this thread was created. I was so proud of how the D stepped up when they needed to the most -early and late. To those who say "they still aren't good" we know that which makes it that much sweeter that they rose up. If the defense continues to be serviceable, we can go far.

They did come up big given their lack of talent. They are primarily a bunch of no-names but they seem to be playing with a relentless, never-give-up attitude they lacked last year.

They may not be a shutdown defense full of All-Pros but they will hustle. A little hustle creates opportunities for big plays if they don't quit
