Defense Tonight Deserves Some Props

I was worried at first, but they stepped up hard.

Did it without the usual forced turnover party too.

I don't see how you don't sign Gregory now. He's in the Defensive MVP talks with Parsons and Diggs.

This was one of the first games I feel like Parsons looked like Wagner or what they intended when they moved him back to ILB. Dude was EVERYWHERE!!

Defense gets major props from me tonight.. I would never have guessed they could hold a good offense under 20.. Then again they held the Chargers to 17 so maybe I should just trust Quinn to come up with the right plan.

They can’t do what they did tonight week in and week out. That’s too much to ask of any NFL defense.

What they can do is from time to time play at a high level and make plays.

If we play a great offense though the great offense will do good against any NFL defense including ours.

It’s up to our offense to outscore the other team and for the defense to try their best to make plays.

I loved that Gregory hit cousins on the final play. There were some bad calls in the game for flags on defense.

But it looked like it was 94 that had the pressure and laid out cousins on final play

So many defenders played lights out. I love it.

Yes, the coverage and tackling was absolutely superb. Micah is an amazing rookie.

And we actually have safeties back there who can prevent teams from simply throwing deep balls at will. And these safeties can tackle!

If they can improve each week, this defense can be really special.
