Defense wasn't the issue

Oh no doubt. It surprises me that there's still some here that expect to see quality QB play from a player making 2 million a year.

In fact even higher paid backups like Stidham and Lock making 6 million a year can barely keep their teams afloat.

It's almost always a " break glass in case of emergency" situation when backups QB's come in.

And with this cowboys roster?...... good luck

After this Philly garbage I say if Mike White is available sign him and start him . I know I’ll see a 15 yard completion .

Miami in the same boat as Dallas . QB trouble and what was once a promising coaching start has Mike McDaniel no longer the Fountain Blue lead act .

The offense gave away how many turnovers? And produced less than 50 yards passing to boot.

Defense wore out.

Some people look at 34 points and forget the fumbles the interceptions the three and outs on offense they look at football in simple terms .

Yes, but to what end?

At this point what is to be gained by 10 more points a game?

Being a Cowboys fan makes me want to see them win every Sunday, but the pragmatist in me knows that every "win" hampers our ability to rebuild the team via better Draft spot.

I just can’t root for what I saw yesterday . I want improvement .

Rush is hot garbage. The entire league passed him over in free agency. His salary is peanuts.

Mingo trade was all about next year.

Not sure Rush could throw a deep ball anyhow. He looked like a highschool QB out there.

A four for Mingo was expensive. 8 games left to show your an improvement on Jalen Brooks

This isn't the first time the offense has turned over the ball, lol

Our franchise Qb had 8 ints and 4 fumbles so far in just 8 games....I'm not seeing a big change in that category

Cooper Rush is not as bad as he looked today
That is pretty hard to believe. I don't care what he has done in the past. Yesterday it looked like he hadn't practiced one second all week. He was completely unprepared and looked afraid to stand in the pocket more than 2-3 seconds. Everything he threw was dink and dunk. He looked like a pee wee league QB. This was way worse than FA playing in a preseason game. This was unprofessional. And I would tell him today he better do better next week or Lance is starting and a FA will be brought in to take his place.

I neither root for it nor get upset about it because most of us knew exactly what type of roster we have here.

The team showed exactly what they were when they got mud stomped by the Saints 44-19 with the starters HEALTHY and PLAYING

I agree about the cost. Jerry is a moron when it comes to trades.

But either way, Mingo is more about next year. This is a wasted season.

The D did show some life in the 1st half. That is a testament to Parsons and his dominating abilities.

I hope the Cowboys lose out with the garbage they are putting on the field and position themselves for big weekend at the 2025 draft. They should make some trades and dump numerous players along the way. This is a rebuild bot a retool.

Trade parsons. We have way too many needs. He doesn’t help enough and always throwing someone under the bus. Tired of seeing him smiling on the sideline when we are getting blown out. This organization can’t handle a personality like him. Probably not many can.

Going back to the Falcons game and count the Steelers game as well when the defense on the road gave up 17 in a win the defense against Philly was much less the issue then MM and that offense . Constant turnovers deep in your own territory are only going to lead to points surrendered .

On the post game autopsy Broadus suggestion of telling MM hand over the play call sheet to Schottenheimer to finish the season makes sense . If he refuses can him and I guess elevate either Schottenheimer or Zimmer .

That’s where this team is at . Cooper Rush is not as bad as he looked today and Lance is so rusty from lack of playing time it’s quite a mess .
Defense wasn’t the issue no but it was bad too.

I’m sorry if this isn’t the most obvious and clear reasoning, but Jerry Jones is Mike McCarthy Jerry Jones is Mike Zimmer. Jerry Jones is Play calling and drafting and managing everyone that manages the players. I’m sure someone posted this and thinks alike. It’s real simple for example he’s making Cooper Rush look horrendous to complimemt your overpaid Quarterback!! Jerry and his entourage are billionaire tycoons!! Jeryy is instructing his head coach to call all of those little runt plays thowing to your running back when you have the highest paid receiver and amazing tight end in the game .Copper Rush won 5 straight 2 years ago and looked nothing like he did yesterday. The look on his face proved that he was instructed to: TAKE A DIVE!Jerry has instructed the teams management to lay down. Truth- he is hiding Daka inability with a phoney injury!! (BC -Dak is not a true warrior and mocks true love for the game and quit frankly clearly hasent the decision making power).. How do you throw that same exact interception in this years niner game that cost us the playoff game 2 years ago?. How does that team ownership not want to target bounty games :niners, green bay(omg if they play jets bounty Aaron rodgers!!! They embarrassed us year after year and rubbed it in our faces!!!We needed jimmy johnson aka buddy ryanx1000... cowboys train at a country club!!! One super fact here.. WHOOOO IS THER CONDITIONING COACHES!!!This is why you have injury after injury!!They threw in the towel and that is the truth. How else can he manipulate fans and season ticket holders minds to bring back Dak Prescott after he so-call heals?? Or Dak slides outta Dallas laughing his as off!!Ownership and management is a total joke.. Fire yourselves. Players dont win Superbowls..Head coaches and organizations win!!

I don't believe for one second that Rush is as bad as he played yesterday.
I do believe someone wanted us to think that.
But we've all seen Rush play better and the Cowboys win when they felt there was still hope for the season.
The playcalling was terrible.
But just like when Dak was injured before his first extension, it's as if someone wants fans to believe that the sky is falling without Dak.
Which would make sense now that Jerry mortgaged the team's future with that ridiculous contract he gave him.
I think someone put on a show for the fans to see yesterday.
